This is the slightly lower spec version of the Vernee X with 4gb Ram, 64Rom. Other than that the spec is the same as the 6gb/64gb version

Amazing 6200Mah battery for real world 3 day between charges

Rear fingerprint scanner. Dual cameras and Flash (16/5mp rear 13/5mp front) on both front and rear, LED notification light (missing on so many handsets nowadays)

Has Band 20 and USB-C but no NFC if that bothers you.

yes it has Mediatek SoC but its the latest Helio P23 which is actually a pretty fast midrange chip

Other than shipping from China I'm struggling to find any negatives

I've got a Vernee Mars Pro (had it for quite a few months now since it first came out) and it's been fantastic. Exceptionally well-built, great features, crisp and bright display, fast and smooth. The robustness of the phone is not advertised as a feature, but I've dropped this numerous times on hard surfaces (with no case or additional screen protection) and it's survived unscathed, where every previous phone I've had (including supposedly rugged featured models) has smashed with the same force. Hopefully this new X model is just as good.

I don't want to put out someone's bonfire but this seems far too thin (from the photos) for a 6200mAh battery - anyone actually tried it out?

Also, usual precautions apply with off-brand Chinese handsets when looking for embedded malware.

Lenovo P2 had 5100Mah and was only slightly thinner. not unreasonable with current dual layer battery tech.

Also plenty of reviews on Youtube with device info showing a 6200MaH battery and screen on time in android of 15-17hrs

I'm confident it's genuine battery size.

As for the photo's I wouldn't be surprised if they were shot/tweaked to make the phone "look" slimmer than it's true 9.5mm depth though...Chinese phones tend to have flattering photos making bezels look thinner and devices slimmer than they actually are...;-)

I reckon you're probably right about tampered photos (so that it could feasibly have a 6200mAh battery) and that was what I was worried about. I ordered a cheap phone that looked great in the photos and it looked dreadful when it arrived, thick bezels with additional black bezel inside the display (between the glass colouring edge and the actual LCD).
