I saw a deal on Venus Fly Trap on this website earlier for £7.99.
I guess this one is a slightly smaller 8.5cm but it is for £4.00 and you could pick one up from the local B&Q store.

Nightmare i bought loads of these and they always die i think they are …Nightmare i bought loads of these and they always die i think they are only suited to the jungle£4 as well i got mine for 99p in Poundstretchers!

Tap water will kill them, it's too salty. Use rainwater or distilled water only. Sit them in saucer of the water and only use sphagnum moss+perlite media. Standard compost/soil will also kill the plants

The only one I've seen do well is the one my brother grew years ago in a hexagonal glass terrarium that I had made some time before. It flourished and grew huge. It grew so well that he gave me an offspring plant that I grew in an identical terrarium with the same care methods he used. But it did not flourish, it lingered on for a few months and then died. The only thing I can think that was different for our plant was that we did not have a window sill facing the same way as his. I now have both terrariums and many windowsills facing all points of the compass so I'm keen to have another go. Next time I'm near our local B&Q I will look and see if they have them.
Snap it up while you can...!
Are there any in store still? Says oos on the website
I said this yesterday when someone else posted Venus fly traps somewhere else for £7.99 thanks for posting it I couldn’t be bothered lol
Might give this a go. Have an infestation of fruit flies completely resistant to sprays.

Me too so i went to the local beach and took a couple of bags of sand away - bleached the sand (Asda smartprice bleach £0.29p) and washed it to kill any nasties and stuck it on top of the soil and hey presto all my nasty flies are gone!!!

If its on the leaves then get some fresh chillis - grind them up in some water until its really fine and spray your plants they will die by the load andleaves the leaves tasting nasty so the flies will bvgger off elsewhere!
