A heads up to all you mums and dads out there who may want some Cheap flights to Miami during the Easter Holidays. I purchased mine through ebookers, but you can buy them through Netflights and a few other companies too. They fly from Manchester are not direct but the price is brilliant for BA/American Airlines during Easter. Hope it's useful for someone! The link goes to flights from Sunday to Sunday for £296, but you can fiddle with the dates and bring the cost down slightly.

Flight times are between 12 to 14 or 15 hours (direct flights are normally about 9 hours) but it saves hundreds of pounds (in my case more than £1000!).

Got my hands up and neither.

BA - waste of time, either they delay a flight or cancel a flight.... then blame adverse weather conditions on a beatiful day. Then refunds.... well i traveled with them in August and still no refunds. Customer services... well u wait forever and ever and ever.......

There isn't a single airline out there that doesn't have heaps of complaints. Pick an airline add the word "review" and put it through google. All airlines have flights that are delayed or cancelled.

I've been travelling for years and with lots of different companies. Bottom line is I've never experienced any issues with any other flights. This was my first experience. I apologise for putting the airline down as you have posted this. Unfortunately its a fact that I had to let people know. Go ahead and book.. I'm not stopping you.

Unfortunately not. I think they'd consider that a no show (because you missed the first flight) and cancel the rest of the tickets.

I know. Just trying to make it a better deal in my own mind. Thanks OP!

It's fine during the day but it's an adult area at night. Not much for the kids to do unless you sit on the beach all day.

Misleading, £289 is with 1 Adult & 2 Kids. This needs to be clearly mentioned.
From £289 does usually leads to believe Adult ticket, in this case it would be £348.
(Still decent price only if it wan't with BA).

You are allowed to get out of Miami you know! Cheap rental car and go and tour the state: Everglades, Cape Canaveral, The Keys, even Disney if you must, etc., etc. There are so many places way better than Miami and Easter is a good time to go (leave summer to the mad dogs and Englishmen - it's stinking hot and very humid).

Yes, distances are big but the driving is easy and part of the adventure if you want it to be. £/$ is improving again and you get so much more for your money in the US.

Not at all. The "kids" seats that were quoted were for kids aged 13 and 15 which appear to attract the adult fair. I've just run two searches and can find adult tickets for £297. I think you've probably just run a slightly different search to mine. You can definitely find them sub £300 for adults.

APD does not apply up to 15years, try with 1xadult- I only ran your link!

The only problem with this deal is that you'll end up in Miami.

Carrying around acid is soon to be a criminal offence. Buying guns from the local corner gun shop is not only legal in the US, it's a constitutional right that can't be changed.

Add more children and infants to get a cheaper deal

Yes, as is mugging from mopeds,, car crime, burglaries etc but never stopped juveniles from continuing as the laws are spineless and police are left picking up the pieces with repeat offenders. UK should introduce stricter laws to deter crime, simply sending someone to prison is not acting as an effective deterrent. The law will not prevent people from buying acid and destroying the lives of innocent people.

They've gone up a bit but I can still find them for around the £330 mark which is still a good price.

skyscanner.net/tra…iew
That's the price for an adult. Comes out cheaper if you're taking your children.

Always fancied a trip to the states, never really looked o know prices, what is this compared to the normal price you would look to pay in a holiday period?

Cant find the prices at £289, they show up as £344 when doing 2 adults + 1 child...

But what is good, is doing the same flights towards end of May for Half term, is showing same flight path (MAN-PHL-MIA / MIA-LHR-MAN) for £348.....
That's a good price.

Double or more for Easter etc (direct) and just under double (direct) at off peak times.

The route via Heathrow and not Philly would be the better one as the AA plane from Manchester is usually a tired old 757, the BA flight from LHR is the new A380, costs a bit more, but worth the extra.

If you plan to use this BA deal to buy a gun in Miami, you need a license to buy a gun at these supposed corner gun shops. There is a 3 day waiting period as well so plan your travel dates accordingly. I'm not sure someone who enters the US on a tourist visa will pass the background checks that also have to be carried out before buying a gun.
It is possible to get an Constitutional Amendment with a super majority vote in the House and Senate.

Rather than disprove my point, you've in fact proven it to be completely correct. No amount of side stepping the issue can disprove how ridiculously unfit for the 21st Century America is.
It's no wonder not only the world detest it's ridiculous regime, but also citizens it's armed and allowed to create mass shooting incidents.

I really don't care you hate me because of my nationality.
I've never had a gun or wanted one. I was robbed by knifepoint in London and I still wouldn't want to carry a gun in response to that. All I can do living in this far superior non violent country is hope I don't actually get stabbed next time for £20 and a mobile phone.
