I tried and even tweeted them but the answer they gave is that if there is no Collect+ option that I won't be able to get it delivered for me to collect and save the delivery charge. Still a good deal though I reckon. I was also worried with the chargeback but thought if they don't refund me the difference I can always get a refund for the item and get someone to order for me on my behalf. Regarding credit, I just paid in full by debit card.

just noticed on my statement they took £54.95 off my card when the receipt for the transaction states £4.95. So not only did I pay £25 for the code, I also paid £54.95 for the items.

Looking at the groupon fine print it does state they take the full amount then refund the coupon value later.

Trying to help people find good deals with this code (and helping drive this voucher listing HOT, which has just happened off the back of it) - what an idiot! (_;)

No you dont need a credit account. It's quite annoying as when you register it comes up as a default option. You have to scroll down to some small step to 'skip this offer'. Once you get past that bit you're good to go.

New customers only. There are usually better first time order offers (% of first order). I suppose it might be good if you plan to do a low spend first order of £30...but you may miss a bigger opportunity. Mind you most will not recommend shopping with Very....

Have the terms changed for this? It says £15 for £30 or £25 for £50 To Spend on Clothing, Home, Beauty, Electricals and Toys. So, how did you get PSN cards (can't see under which category this belongs to in the website)?

It works for anything, not just what they've stated.

Lol, this deal has been lingering for nearly 4 days without going HOT but someone posts it separately with The Order 1886 in the title and it hits 280+ inside 3 days. What a crazy/predictable bunch you are sometimes.

I had terrible customer service from Very. ordered a small double bed and a sofa, the bed arrived and wasn't as pictured on the website. they wouldnt let me return it or exchange for what I needed, so I cancelled my sofa order. I'll never buy furniture from them again.

Ahh I'd definitely buy if i knew for sure it would work on an existing account

I bought this deal and didn't read the small print either - was told after they had taken the full amount that a refund would be made for the value of the groupon within 14 days! Seems like a peculiar business model and if I'm honest I struggled to find things on their website that I actually wanted to buy. Would still vote the deal hot though as it is a half price deal, but don't think I would shop with them again.

    Groupon, cold.

Why? I just bought 4 x £25 PSN vouchers with two of these codes for £50 - saving myself £50 as I buy a lot of digital games. The Groupon code is instant. No refunds/rebates - just straight up 50% saving on the item. If you use Paypal with your Groupon account you save even more.

What? I used this deal twice on two seperate Very accounts. I paid £25 for the groupon code which was delivered instantly. Then on very I ordered £50 worth of PSN and was charged just £3.95 by very for the postage.

Because the code I bought through groupon for hungryhouse is accepted but doesn't actually work.

I have had to raise a dispute with paypal to get £5 back ... I wasn't the only one with this problem.

Are you referring to a different Groupon deal to this? For the purposes of this deal if someone were to create a new very account and use the Groupon deal they would legitimately save themselves £25 for every time they took up this deal.

I've had problems with the odd Groupon deal in the past but its always the merchant and not Groupon at fault so I'd still only vote hot/cold on a deal by deal basis not just Groupon.

    Good deal.

Just ordered 1TB Seagate Portable Hard Drive (£54). Used quidco for 5% cashback on Groupon purchase (£1.25 already tracked) and then quidco again for 7% cashback on Very.

Worst case scenario if cashback is denied I'll have got a 1TB Seagate Portable HardDrive for £29 (free delivery using Collect + too)
