We took this out after getting our kitten 4 years ago. If, OK it's a big if. But if our cat lives past 10 years of age this will have been a money saver in the long run as I have n… Read more

I hadn't heard this. Do you have a source at all? Thanks lots :)

decosparkle25

Recommendations now are for vax to be every three years not every year. Annual boosters are simply not necessary.

chimp14uk

Only available for dogs vaccinated in the last 30 days. Well mine was vaccinated about 40 days ago, so completely useless for me and probably most people. It's a NO from me.

caradog

Different thing altogether! The op has posted a lifetime offer regarding vaccinations, the health checks are incidental. Yes his pets may still need flea treatment, the same as yourswill still need annual vaccinations.

GibsonSt19

That's a great deal. I'd be interested in something similar in my area (Wrexham), but can't find a vet doing this for this sort of price.

Humans and animals on this planet have been around for a long, long time. Humans create this most wonderful thing called money, big pharmaceutical steps in and common sense goes out the window. Drugged up to the eyeballs along with our four legged friends.. https://www.doglistener.co.uk/depth-annual-dog-vaccination-dangers

Does anyone know if you can take up the £99 booster plan but still stag registered at your current vets for generally appointments etc. or would you have to transfer fully to a Vets4Pets surgery? Thanks.

Kassap

Myself & family have only ever had our pets have first set of inoculations as further ones aren't required due to immune system kicking in. The dogs trust confirmed this for me as well. Did you also know that the prescriptions from vet can be taken to any chemist to be prescribed same meds only at a much cheaper cost ?

Hi OBJ - it is called Healthy Pet Plan. Not sure if it is available on a nationwide basis. Ended up just putting my seven year old Collie on it for £10.99 a month. Especially worth it as it also allows for 20% off neutering, which he was getting done that day (brave, brave boy) so I managed to save around £40 or thereabouts on the price of the operation.

oddballjamie

No worries, just got a little excited when I thought insurance was included. ;) I pay £9.80 insurance for both cats at the moment, so I thought £20 including all the other things is a bargain.

dianneNE

Oh thanks for posting! I have 5 retired greyhounds - 3 of our own and 2 foster dogs. Our own 3 are due their boosters this month. We have a vets 4 pets just around the corner and have never been charged a consultation fee for any vaccinations, even when I have taken in a new foster dog.

scrumpypaul

I know. Sorry. Shouldn't have said insurance.

oddballjamie

Ok, you threw me earlier when you mentioned petplan insurance which are a company.

Fab I have been looking for this offer , Thank you :)

Thank you for posting. My dog lost her fight for life last November and I took her to http://easipetcare6-px.rtrk.co.uk/chatham/ - a vets recommended on HUKD. Was so grateful to poster. They were so understanding and kind with very reasonable prices at such a difficult time and I would recommend them to anyone in Medway.

jorgiesmummy

I use vets4pets and also got the vac4life when I got my puppy last year! We go to Bearsden and really cannot fault them one bit, I attended a meeting with the area manager to give feedback and everyone was exactly the same as me delighted with them, they are not my local vet I travel about 10 miles to them as the are so good, but everyone is different it's their own business as such with vets4pets providing initial start up and funding as such. Bug pack was also good value for us

oddballjamie

Hot, they've been doing this for a while now at my local vets. They also had vac for life for £49 last time I was in there with the cat. Btw it's £15 per injection so £30 for a cat. Not certain how many shots dogs need.

Just came back from the vets where I was asked if I would have traveled to save nearly £50 - he did not need to ask that..! He told me that one cat needed his teeth cleaning and the other an extraction. He printed me off an estimate and that was for £190.! I will need to shop around Free dental check noted from the previous page here... http://www.vets4pets.com/healthy-pet-special-offers/exclusive-online-offer/ so that is a good place to start as many vets charge just to look :( EDIT: Voucher expired a the end of June :( oh dear... http://www.whatprice.co.uk/prices/vet-prices/dental-surgery-cat.html

Thats brilliant :D 2 for the price of 1 n a saving of £46 :)

VimesUK

I told my local vet about this deal and made them aware as both of our cats are due unless they could improve on their £38 per cat price for a booster we would be using vets4pets for our cats needs. They phoned me back just now to say that they will price match and our cats go in this afternoon :) Saves a 25 mils trip as well to our local vets4pets surgery.

sue_1

My vet is really good and not expensive but for some reason there vaccinations seem to be expensive . Can I take them there just for there boosters or do I have to register there as there vet ? As don't want to change vets .

oddballjamie

The collar is £25 online compared to £20 for six months Advocate drops, difference for me is Advocate protects against worms and fleas and if my cat snags the collar it's another £25.
