can you use these in your car

one of the argos reviews says this

"Can be used as a reversing camera but to get the WiFi on to connect to your phone for the image you need to press the up button which is a bit of a pain. Very handy for backing onto trailers or close to objects. Use car mode and connect to a usb in the car for auto power on."
How about aa a body cam?
Can I use it as a camera??
This looks ok for the price, looking to put one on the front of my bike ,this has all the necessary accessories ,voted hot.
Only 30fps btw, even at 720p. That's extremely old technology.

That might be the case ,but it's adaquate for use as a dashcam/bikecam etc. Larger resolution files . ie 4k for example take up huge storage space and when it come to editing you need a fast Pc/laptop. I have a few of this type of camera including the Firefly6s for use with my drones and the picture/video quality is not bad , infact excellent from the likes of the Firefly but for 1080HD @60fps I have to use an i7 with 16GB of RAM for perfect results. So there will be a sacrifice somewhere in terms of quality, speed and ease of editing.
These are more than adequate for use as a rear facing dashcam as I do
These are very basic cameras which Argos have been trying to shift for a long time. I think the true video resolution is 720p 30fps but it interpolates to 1080p 30fps. For image quality the sensor is only 1.3MP or 2MP so everything above that is interpolated and pointless so to claim 16MP I feel is completely dishonest.

I think the anti-shake is in software and these use something like a general plus chipset as used in childrens cameras.

For an action camera you really want a true 1080p 60fps mode which many cheap cameras provide and for a true anti-shake image stabilization you need a reasonable chipset like sunplus with a image sensor of more than 2MP to allow a higher resolution than the final corrected image. Such cameras don't have to be expensive.
