VICKS VUL520E1 Mini Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier for £33.74. This is the cheapest it has ever been on Amazon and quite likely anywhere else. I have bought it and love it. Even though it says ultra quiet, it definitely isn't but is acceptable. Unlike my previous humidifier this does not leak water all over the floor. Extra vapour pads are expensive but others have suggested that just adding few drops of Olbas oil to the water has the same effect.

Features:
  • Get temporary relief from cough & congestion for better breathing and a good night's sleep
  • This compact humidifier can help you reduce the survival of flu viruses in your home by maintaining moisture level between 40%-60%
  • Ultrasonic Technology: Ultra Quiet Operation
  • Cool Mist Humidifier: No risk of burns
  • For added soothing vapours, use with Vicks VapoPads Menthol or Rosemary & Lavender (Optional)

Yes.
I have this and love it. Really helps dry throat/coughs and dry nose (was suffering with nose bleeds from all the dryness the heating causes during winter) I refuse to sleep without this being on now
Great price I paid nearly double (was desperate at the time!!)

Quite like the look of this, but is it any different to most aromatherapy diffusers? Hot tho.

Good question, I'd like to know this too. Heat added.

I think it is the same. I have a humidifier from Argos (challenge extreme) and it looks about the same thing. The only issue I have with mine is getting hold of distilled water to fill it with
I have an older version, you just full with tap water but make sure you clean it regularly, the only downside to these is it will make the room it’s in damp, we used our last night because were full of colds
Ordered thanks. Comes only with one pad. Where can I get replacement cheap, plz!
Just get a 9.99 diffuser and some eucalyptus essential oil.
You can get the exact same sort of devices, plus better ones, for much cheaper than this. Just browse through amazon, there’s tons. You can get a Vicks oil or similar oil on its own. This is actually quite expensive

Use deionised water, available at most stores and motoring shops. Used to fill steam irons without them scaling up.
