Don't forget to go through Quidco & then Beat My Price. £1 for the quote and 15% of the price they quote.

No. The Security gay was just joules.

Amazing, my favourite.
Along with Tobacco Vanille and Aventus that is!

Mate do you know anywhere that sells Aventus for a reasonable price?

I just cannot justify spending over £100 on the stuff? Also what's the Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille like? Never smelt it...

Thanks :-)

I got the 90ml fresh edition which is more subtle for £29 in Lanzarote
Chuffed I was.

Thank you all who replied to my comment... Love it when the UKHD community helps a brother out :-)

Golddigga Spice EDT exactly the same smell as these ones and lasts very long. 100ml - £4.99 @ Savers if anyone wants something like this but doesn't want to spend quite a lot.

They don't sell those.

Every nose is different so it's best to check yourself imo. Head to the nearest department store such as harvey nicks or john lewis and get a wrist or cheeky neck spray and paper sample. Although I was at a creed stand once and a guy walked in, practically doused himself with one of them and immediately walked out. That's how he gets it for a reasonable price. X)

If you're lucky and know what to look for, try getting a decant from ebay. I got an amazing deal on an auction a few months back!

Just be aware this shape can cause confusion in luggage...

Which one would you pick?

Pun intended or a genuine question? X)

As they're two different types of fragrance, it's hard to compare them directly. I guess I prefer aventus in terms of smell and to me, it's more flexible, you can wear it practically any time and it won't be out of place.

Thanks for your advice chap, but unfortunately I don't live anywhere near a HN or JL....

I've also not smelt either Aventus or the Tom Ford, but I've heard good things about the Creed Fragrance, it's just that the price is over £100 I haven't bothered obtaining a tester, I cannot justify spending that much....

Although if it helped me to attract a few hotties on a night out or just being out and about then it would certainly be money well spent.... :-)

Any other fragrance(s) you could recommend that are versatile for both day & night, with decent longevity.... I already have the V&R Spicebomb

scent-samples.co.uk seems a good tip from a fellow UKHD member...

Thanks

witnessed the same thing happen to a guy in front of me at security at Heathrow earlier this year. He'd travelled several times with it and it attracted no attention but one chap took issue with it. Something to consider if you're planning on taking it abroad! Get an atomiser.

I get the odd compliment on fragrances but Aventus is a god lol.

It does depend tbh, and I stress this is just my opinion, I would say that clean/fresh/citrus scents are more versatile and things like acqua di gio, l'eau de issey, Hugo, allure homme sport, ysl l'homme are the ones I like. Longevity varies both on fragrance and person imo. Terre d'hermes has good longevity. There are some better suited to night like code, Burberry London, ysl nuit de l'homme.

Wear whatever you like and can afford. Don't worry about what other people think, a fragrance is personal imo. Try boots or debenhams, perfume shop etc and sample away. And then buy your favourite online as it'll probably be cheaper.
