You clearly don't know anything about bras if you think that a 30 or 32 has anything to do with the size of someone's breast tissue.

Yes! My moment to shine is here! I've read enough about bra sizing from my partner having so many issues with sizing to be able to tell you that you are completely wrong

Actually, the cup size is relative to the back size. So, for example, the breast size (or breast "volume" if we wanna get all scientific) for a 32B is actually bigger than for a 30B.

In fact, the increase in breast volume between cup sizes it the same as between back sizes (at least it should be, but a lot of sizes are wrong). So a 32B is exactly the same breast volume as a 30C.
Mmmmm delightful.

Uh, I have breasts and am well aware of this information, so I have no idea why you're telling me this. My comment was clearly referring to the fact that the number on a bra size refers to the band size and not the volume of breast tissue. Warek78 commented that people who are a 30 or 32 don't need bras, i.e. clearly implying that a 30 or 32 band size = small breasts, when you can be a 30H or a 34C or whatever other size.

I came for the pictures, but stayed for the maths.

In your example. A 32 has a 6.66% circumstances advantage over a 30 inch bra (x). A 'B' cup bra has a size of 2 inch ( y) and a 'C' cup of 3 inch (y). Now presuming the strap length (z) is constant how can the volumetric value be the same?

All of them girls need more body fat percentage, to bring them in line with rational dieting and nutritionally balanced lifestyles.

I know what you were saying, but if you read your comment again you will see that it was poorly worded so that it wasn't actually correct. I was merely sharing what I thought to be a useful tidbit.

I'm delighted that you have breasts and already know - most blokes don't and are perpetually bemused by why bra sizing is so complicated. I was once that person but then Wikipedia brought me into the light.

Given those dimensions, I think any proof will depend entirely on the shape of the breasts. So you will need to provide pictures.

Likewise, if you go ahead and read what you said again, you'll see that your response didn't actually dispute what I said. Changing a band size for a sister size doesn't alter the size of someone's breast tissue. Also, sister sizes seldom fit the same.

Your initial comment honestly just read like pedantic mansplaining to me.

Are you actually serious? How can someone be "mansplaining" when they're replying to someone on the internet that they don't even know the gender of?

My initial comment was simply a lighthearted demonstration of how ignorant most men (myself included) are when it comes to women's clothing (and fashion in general).

Why wouldn't you assume you're most likely replying to a woman? If you think that most men are utterly clueless on the subject of bra sizes, it surely follows that you'd assume someone trying to correct a daft bra-related comment is probably a woman.
