Amazing! My son was just asking about one yesterday! Although they have a few different models, this one seems the best value for money.

Ordered, heat and rep added!

any ideas what the multi-purpose hook is for?

Quick question I notice it says keyring so if being pulled over by a cop , can they take this away from you?

are these illegal to carry in uk? it's the sort of thing i'd like to attach to my car keys and just carry everywhere...

Good deal. Just remember not to have it on you if you are flying anywhere.

You would have to be an overly confident terrorist to hijack a plane with one of these. However there are thousands of Swiss army knives in bins at airport security which I guess is good business for Victorinox.

This is true, one of the comments on Amazon was from someone who was buying his third one after having the first two confiscated at the airport!

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation have a insightful document about pocket knifes:

These must have cutting edges of less thanthree inches and blades which do not lock. However when pocket knives of this type are carriedfor example in a nightclub, at a school or to a football match they are likely to be viewed asoffensive weapons even though the actual knife isn’t an offensive weapon in itself.

Think so, to be legal the blade has got to be less than 3 inches long and non-locking so this compies on both counts

by the way the huntsman is selling on 7dayshop.com for only 99p more but showing stock on order

I've got a similar model and it measure 6cm, under 3 inches so it should be fine however use common sense with these, a knife has no place at a football match, in a pub, nightclub or school and becomes an offensive weapon in these circumstances in just the same way as a screwdriver. Just saying...

Great price for what I think is the best Victorinox knife. It's got just the right amount of features and is a good size in your hand.

Ordered, heat and rep added!

Gone up to £16.91 now...

It's still available from Amazon at £12, but delivery is 2-4 weeks. The £16.91 is a marketplace seller.

Carrying packages tied with string according to Victorynox

I always carry one of these to cut the stalk of broccoli in supermarkets.. Doesn't everyone?

Totally legal to carry in the UK in your pocket if you are over 18, used to be 16... I have retailed Swiss Army and Mag products for 16 years...

maxmix

PS Good prices too on Amazon.... As long as the blade does not lock your fine.... I have carried 3 for years including my Cybertool and never had a problem once... the other 2 are keychain size ;-)

Being delivered today!
