looks an ok price dropped a lot on amazon in a month no info before voting hot
This amazon listing is new but if you search for the main amazon listing on camelcamelcamel it hasn't been below £12 since 2010 and this is the cheapest it has ever been. I only bought the swiss champ a few weeks ago but I have just bought this one too...
Ordered, thanks. HOT.
Cheaper than getting a proper sharpening kit to sort my locking one!
looks similar to this one amazon.co.uk/gp/…X6G that used to be £1.79 before
Great product..

Draper are cheap junk. Victorinox knives are high quality and can last a lifetime if maintained.
Looking similar means nothing avebell, like comparing Swatch to Rolex

Cheap imitation rubbish!
Victorinox are European made and they back their knives up with a lifetime warranty. Not so long back i had a heavily abused (snapped blade, snapped scissors, screwdriver's used for scraping mortar from joints) 30+ year old Victorinox replaced under warranty.
heat added bought two for me and my 5 year old son

Could you tell me how you went about claiming the warranty please?
Price have gone back to normal level
Brilliant knife got me one 4 years ago in WalMart in America then a few months after went hiking in Switzerland and got my name engraved on it there trust me these are built to last the knife has been jammed in things and the tip is still not bent.
PS the actual Swiss Army are issued with these.

Bargain to those that got them. Sheer quality.
Few of these on Amazon in various colours around £9 - £13? Some are in the warehouse from Amazon.

i have had victorinox swiss champs for about 25 years, on the third one now which is about 7 years old went past a victorinox shop in Marleybone and thought I'll and see how much to fix my pliers and a new pen. A nice young lady at the counter said its a lifetime warranty take it any shop or post it in and its covered no receipts, no passport, no grandfathers cycling proficiency certificate. She let me take it to bits myself and changed the scissors, knife blade, saw, fixed my pliers spring, put in a toothpick, tweezers, pen and stuck on a new case. only problem is i had picked out the XLT as a replacement but cant justify it to myself now.
Ditto here re service. Popped into the Bond St Victorinox shop to see how much to fix a 25 year old knife. No charge. At all. New bits, sharpening, even offered new side panels (I declined). Wonderful.
I wonder how much this item is priced in Switzerland. We get things cheap and still complain. If it ever goes down to 11.84 buy it, at this price it is the best deal you will ever get. The knife is made with real love and passion! They don't mess up.

I did it online through burton-mccall.co.uk - you can send an email to their customer service here: customerservices@burton-mccall.co.uk - no receipts or proof of purchase was needed, did need to pay the postage to get it to them though so a couple of quid.

My knife was to far gone to repair in the UK but was offered the option for it to be send back to the Victorinox factory for repair or a similar tool set new knife replacement, i went for a new knife.
