And what on earth could you saw through with it that couldn't just break … And what on earth could you saw through with it that couldn't just break with your hand?

I could snap them easy!

Is it a weapon; tool or novelty ?.

I only posted this in response to the other deal which was more expensive and got more heat. Herd mentality I think.

Arent these legal to sell, illegal to possess?

Yes, I don't even carry around a tiny penknife on my keyring any more. Unless it is essential for your job, carrying one around outside of work will be illegal. If searched by a policeman, it would be confiscated. But not illegal to sell. I have 2 different ones kicking around my house, super handy

Is that right? I always put mine in my cycling bag when I go out. It's a tool after all.

Useful if you need to cut your own arm off.

Only a pen knife with a locking blade is illegal to carry in public, such as the Leatherman multitools. The swiss army knifes do not have a locking blade.
However any knife.... or any tool whatsoever can be deemed as an offensive weapon if the police have reason to believe you are going to use it as such.

I got the best one of this.

this knife is perfectly legal current legislation says you may carry a knife so long as:

it does not have a blade longer than 3 inches
it does not lock

if your knife does not comply to this ie it has a blade longer than 3 inches or it locks then it is for you to prove to have reasonable grounds to be carrying it ie a carpet fitter would be carrying a stanley knife for work purposes

i want a black one but its £18
