I got this for £16.51 on a Black Friday deal last year but this is still a great price.

You can't beat Victorinox for quality, I still have my first knife from 25 years ago and it's as good as new.

Hot from me.

still fantastic everyday knifes. There are loads that are better but are either illegal to carry or much higher price. If you lost this you wouldn't really bother too much at this price. plus as chairman said they last forever. HOT

illegal according to the police....

NOT TRUE... THESE ARE PERFECTLY LEGAL!

It is illegal to:
carry a knife in public without good reason - unless it’s a knife with a folding blade 3 inches long (7.62 cm) or less, eg a Swiss Army knife

do a search for Nicky medengo turner.... police say they're illegal

A non locking folding blade 3 inches or less is legal to carry.

They might say they are illegal but court says otherwise

crime against the fashion police to carry something that hideous when gerbers and leathermans are only 3 times more expensive

From the wording in that case, I suspect the knife was one of the locking variants (that also happen to be over 3", but that's irrelevant as they're locking.) For those you DO have to have "a reason" to have them in a public place.

For a non-locking one, you do not.

I am sure the Police would prefer it if we all sat at home with our hands where they can see them...but I would rather go by the law gov.uk/fin…ife than what the Police say.

My 2 yr old Swiss champ scissors got bent some how and we're useless. I contacted Victorinox and sent it to them for a repair, came back good as new with lots of blades replaced and even added the small screwdriver in the cork bottle opener that I lost. It came back to me recorded deliver, all under their lifetime warranty - no charge. Excellent service, although took nearly 8 weeks as they go back to Switzerland for blade repairs.

Seems like a standard price to me.

I was waiting for this !
thanks ...voted hot

Speaking of lasting forever - I've got one that I got approx 17 years ago, but I've also got the one my mum got 50 years ago! I use it all the time and it's in great condition. Can't see it ever breaking.

Basic laws on knives
It is illegal to:

sell a knife of any kind (including cutlery and kitchen knives) to anyone under 18
carry a knife in public without good reason - unless it’s a knife with a folding blade 3 inches long (7.62 cm) or less, eg a Swiss Army knife
carry, buy or sell any type of banned knife (the list of banned knives is below)
use any knife in a threatening way (even a legal knife, such as a Swiss Army knife)
