Have this exact model and can't recommend it enough. Night vision is 100%
Great hardware, let down by lackluster software. Fine for the price but I would pay more for something that has robust and polished software.

I would recommend checking out the app required for this device before purchasing.
one of the Amazon reviews - "Your videos are being hosted by a non-UK site that provides minimal information about how it handles your data. Seller is just a re-seller and could not provide any information that would help. And you can't just use locally it has to be connected to this server. If your camera is placed somewhere where privacy is not an issue, its a nice piece of kit that works pretty well, otherwise i would avoid."

Same here. I paid £15 to keep an eye on my house and pet when out.

Shocked how good it is for the money.

What app does it use

It uses an app called IPC360. One of the features it lacks is that you can fast forward through footage. You can only select the starting time and watch it in real time from there.

There is a function where it will make a note of the time if it detects motion but when you review it, it always starts from the beginning of the minute regardless of when the action happens. So sometimes you have to sit through 50 seconds of nothing to see the action. And then if you want to replay it, you have to watch it all again. It's a small thing but it really annoyed me.
We have one of these which uses the ipc360 app. We’ve been using it for the last year and apart from the occasional crash on the app it’s been great. Well worth 20 quid

Point taken, but can anyone suggest what better software would work on this and similar low price cameras?
Presumably if it supports ONVIF then you can use it with any third party IP camera software?
Dred to think of the security implemented on this, or lack off
