Just had a play with it, it's actually quite decent, does a lot of stuff including transfers to/from etc... Might be easier to use than VLC for some people

It's say different, not better, not worse.

VLC does a lot of stuff, a real lot, but for some people it's overly complicated, this is a lot simpler to use but still has a lot of features.
