I know this deal has expired but if you're not fussed about day 1 edition I'd get the double pack (1&2 on same disc) it's about £15 from rice digital but other places may have it cheaper

NIgelK

Nothing wrong with warning people what the company can be like from personal experience. Lots of unhappy people on here after dealing with them. Same as if I've had great service from a company I'd post it. You shouldn't have to rely on PayPal/Google to get your money refunded most times. Deleting peoples accounts as well, great company.

mixmixi

I am going to support them until I experience an issue myself. Until that day has not come, I am supporting them, haha.

I sent my email to them 3 weeks ago

lumbre

I wouldn't trust this company at all. Ordered the PlayStation 20th Anniversary steelbook and they didn't have it. I thought 'Fair enough' so I asked for a refund. After that email, I didn't get any response from them whatsoever even after sending them an email on a weekly basis. Decided to open a paypal case against and still no response.

DaveWallace

So we should base our buying habits exclusively on what reviewers tell us to buy?

Shaikher

They never refunded me for returning Witcher 3

JvK92

I haven't seen a reliable (non-user) review in a while. Although, I don't believe in reviews so maybe my opinion doesn't count.

I would give them a chance myself. They are not as big as other competitors (clearly you can see that from their customer service and packagings i.e. my order had a large letter first class stamp rather than prepaid postage that normally bigger retailer use). Yet, I received a top class service from them and I even didnt pay with paypal (I don't have one) so overall it was not that bad. :)

akuakuu

Guess its a hit and miss then, they obviously can't screw every single customer or they wouldn't be in business at all. Regardless I'm personally not shopping there again

mixmixi

Received my game today via first class delivery and it was as described, so no issues for me here mate.

crackshotkv

Not everything 'new' or 'different' is automatically good. Tho saying that, this game is kind of a poor Gears clone with pretty graphics, so it doesn't even satisfy the new/different pitch.

fattyuk

How dare someone try something different to the usual annual franchises! Also how dare they release something new at the start of a new generation! DAMN YOU SONY 1ST PARTY STUDIOS!! Please dont try anything new!! I actually enjoyed the game, and i enjoyed that it wasn't a 30 hr collectafest with loads of unnecessary filler

NIgelK

Video Game Box, probably the worst company I've ever dealt with. Wouldn't use them if they were sending out free £50 notes. Be aware if you have a dispute with them they close your account, customer service only get back to you once you leave a truthful review on Trustpilot. They then weeks later dispute your review with TP who remove it until you can prove you're a genuine VGB customer, but by then your account has been closed. Keep every order ref and email backed up away from your account with them. Last I've heard they were kicked off of Rakuten as well.

If we check Google Maps, this looks like a small residential address. Not sure where they would manage their stock.

83dlingham

Do not buy from this site they stole money from me, took my preorder for project cars then vanished from the face of the sun even PayPal wouldn't help, some sites are made just make money but not go give the levels of support or service you pay for. Like using a lottery for shopping you might get it but if you don't, it's your own fault for buying it from here. It's harsh but something I've learned about videogamebox when it goes tits up there's no reply to calls or emails your on your own

ordered this sunday night and got a dispatch email shortly after, yet it still hasnt arrived. royal mail 1st class never takes 3days+ to arrive for me. not impressed anyone get their copy yet?

nomez

This game has caught my attention now purely for the ability to cause death to a beast via an enema.

cannibalwombat

I would agree. I'm playing Dark Souls 2 at the moment and finding it MUCH harder. I simply can't get past the Lost Sinner even with summoned help. In Bloodborne solo PVE I NEVER had to summon help. In Bloodborne there is the expectation that you will be hit often; there is less emphasis on patient defense and more on aggression and proactive combat. In DS2 I'm finding by far the biggest priority is defense and avoiding taking damage. In Bloodborne you have the health regain system, a shed load of blood vials, faster heal animation with instant regain (in DS2 the estus animation is ridiculously long and health builds slowly), the dodge mechanic is faster and further-reaching. Not to mention that there is far less in the way of stats and equipment to manage in Bloodborne. Yes the enemies and bosses can often be brutal but with relatively little effort into customisation and stats/abilities optimisation, and if you can get the combat down and learn enemy behaviour, the game is a LOT easier. In my opinion anyway.

ohblobbything

Comment I would say it's not quite as hard as the reputation. There are things you can do to level the playing field, e.g. There are shortcuts you can look up which will give you a foothold in every area, also you can level up your character to 'outlevel' the enemy/boss blocking your way. The early game level design is stunning. Worth a shot IMO even for a casual-ish gamer ;)

piglet1

I love the visual style of this game, graphically it's stunning but I think it would be much too hard for me. I've heard Bloodborne is insanely difficult :( Heat added though.

If you have the code then you can simply redeem it later, when you have your Xbox. As mentioned, if you already have a gamertag then you can redeem this on the Xbox website if you want to, and it will show up on your downloadable games list when you log in to any Xbox One in the future.
