Innovision 3D 8600GTS 256MB DVI PCI-E Graphics Card

Don't really understand this - its cold! The 8800GTS is literally over twice as good - 96 stream processors compared to 32. This card is just a 8600GT clocked about 20% faster - and a 8600GT costs ]£75 delivered.

Shader processing power of 8600 GT = 113.3 GFlops
Shader processing power of 8600 GTS = 139.2 GFlops
Shader processing power of 8800 GTS = 345.6 GFlops Source = ]wikipedia

And these can be run in SLI mode double the power yours cant

Erm, so you would rather pay £280 to have this in SLI (64 stream processors, 280 GFlops total) than £160 to have a single 8800GTS (96 stream processors, 345 GFlops)? Rediculous. And what makes you think the 8600GT isn't SLi ready? All GeForce 8xxx are SLi ready.

This is a cold deal.

Agreed. Sli is a waste of money imo. For £280, you can have a GTS, some 2GB ram to boot (or PSU or both if you are lucky) and have some money left over.

Or, for £140, you can have a 8600 GT and probably just skim the 2GB ram as well.

Ok, so this probably isn't a good way of expressing how expensive this is. It underperforms at some games which 7900GS beats it at (and that is about £100). If it can't beat these sort of cards at DX9, I don't think it it can woo us at DX10. Besides, we might as well wait till DX10 games (since we are mainly still stuck at DX9) actually come out and then buy the GTS which might fall at that price range! (dreams ahead XD)
