Looking for a new monitor to buy this weekend, what's best BenQ GL2560, ASus VX239H-W or Viewsonic?

now the lady in the picture is viewsonic branded...

HOT on the discount off!

Nice looking bit of kit, but yet again, R&D need to take a step back, no display ports, nowhere near 2ms and 27" is the new 23" in any format of single/dual setup without 8" plastic bezels all around..

Think the price is key with this size, 99 and it would have flown away last year at launch, it wasn't, so didn't!

2ms Grey-to-Grey or 5ms Black-to-Black

IPS monitors usually state 5ms which is the G2G, which equates to around 12ms B2B...

having VGA instead of DVI is scandalous, otherwise i think this a cracking price for a IPS 1080P monitor with HDMI&Jack output.

You can get 144hz IPS monitors which are 1ms no?
The Asus ROG one for instance I think?

Might be wrong. Anyway, this is a cracking price. Got viewsonic for all my mates monitors, very good brand

TN panel, not IPS. There is a handful of IPS gaming monitors.

Link For games nothing beats this.

If it was black/grey I may have given it a shot, can't stand white monitors, just don't see the point of them, they look tacky haha
Heat added still, good price for an IPS monitor.

This isn't far behind it. A few popular YouTube gamers use it e.g. Syndicate.

I've done a bit of gaming on a Dell U2414H (24" IPS), which is actually very good as it has virtually no signal processing and the response time can measure at 4ms. It can also be overclocked to get 80Hz+ out of it. There's currently 7 of them (with stand and a 3 year warranty) up for sale at NRGIT.

Thanks for your recommendation. Just ordered the Dell U2414H monitor.

You're welcome. You won't be disappointed with their service or the monitor. It's a great bit of kit.

When you get the monitor it'll have the colour profile set to standard. If you change that to the Dell calibrated sRGB profile and make sure the Nvidia/AMD colour range is 0-255 then it should look really good.

This arrived yesterday, took quite a while to deliver - they must have had a big rush on them.

It's really spectacular quality for the price - I except the Asus, BenQ and Dell options others have posted in the comments are slightly better but given they're all more expensive even excluding the voucher (some quite significantly) it's a moot point. For £109.99 this was outstanding value. Very crisp image and colours seem a lot more realistic - my old monitor (a 24" LG) looks like it has a yellow tint next to this, particularly noticable on documents. I'm also interested in the long term benefits of the blue-light filter.

Code doesn't work!
