27" with small bezels.
Eh VA panel not the best overall.
@rev6 no a tn panel atleast.

Cheap TN panels aren't for me. I'd rather have VA.
VA is too blurry for gaming for me
I get that a deal is a deal, but at 27 inches, you really should be going for a higher resolution. 1080p on large monitors doesn't look good.

Spend a little more and get something 1440p and IPS. Your eyeballs will thank you for it.

I know at this stage, someone will ask for a suggestion... a quick search on retailers I trust and I would consider this a solid budget purchase for a 27 inch monitor:

People going for this one's main reason would be the 144Hz refresh rate imo.
If you're willing to push the boat out a bit further to £270 - this deal is pretty good -

VA is literally the worst for gaming in general, but saying that no matter the panel on this monitor it'll look awful as its 27" 1080p

Depends on the panel. Some VA aren't too bad.

They are getting better, not quite there yet, some of the higher end VA panels do offer decent ms, but that's still few and far between, blacks on the other hand only ips beats it tbh

IPS blacks are generally poor. The perceived blacks anyway due to IPS glow. VA generally have better contrast. Again though, depends on the specific panel.
