It depends whether it supports 1080i over HDMI as well as HDCP. Some monitors have the necessary hardware to convert 1080i inputs but not all; check the spec sheet.

i bought one of these today after i broke the yuraku 24 incher that was on HUKD a few months ago. this has a TN panel so the viewing angle isn't very good

i really like this monitor, the viewing angle was much better than i expected. its absolutely massive. films in HD look brilliant and i had no problems setting it up i have an nvidia 8800gt. just plugged it in and it was ready. it has loads of connectors at the back: HDMI vga av in. no dead pixels and no backlight bleed
