I have been looking for 32” IPS WQHD 2560 x 1440 resolution for a while and yesterday I found the new Viewsonic VX3211-2K-MHD £235 delivered. It is £327 on Amazon. Seems like a good deal to me.

Can also buy it from Insight for similar price, but form morecomputers it is cheaper delivered. Personally I had good experience with them.

You can also use a voucher code for half-price next day delivery HALFND

I however, ordered mine yesterday at 15:50 with free delivery and I had it delivered today by parcelforce at 12. Lucky I guess.

There are few reviews on Amazon, the only professional review I found is in German, which gives the monitor excellent marks. Here is the translated version:

translate.google.com/tra…url

I am personally happy with what I got, no dead pixels, good colors, good brightness, uniformity and angles. Only issue is that there is no stand height adjustment, but the high is about right for me.

Just saw that the stock is getting low....
You can also get it from insight for slightly more...

wow thats IPS for £235 and of course its 60Hz, I am not sure how much one can overclock though. Unless you play FPS I dont see why you would need 144Hz for photo editing, movies, programming, office use where you need large screen without scaling up.

"no point in buying a 1440 unless its 144 hz" Whys that?

Because he's a moron.

Can't see it on the site at all, but do you happen to know its refresh rate? no point in buying a 1440 unless its 144 hz imo.

Luckily it's only my opinion, so no I'm not a moron, but you are for attacking me for passing my opinion. Good game sir.

If your opinion isn't logically sound you could be considered a moron. Just because it's your opinion doesn't make you saying dumb stuff any less dumb. Also, you could've just said I know you are but what am I rather than trying to sound like you're above all this or whatever you were going for.

And everyone who is using a PC for gaming has a GTX 1080 Ti XTX XXX XTREME so they can play BF1 at 144Hz at 1440p with highest settings. No compromises!
OP... Thank you! I've been looking for a budget quad ips preferably bigger than 27" - man you hit the nail.

Ordered and got the half price delivery. Thank you.
Tempted to get this, I prefer this aspect ratio to the ultrawides.

I wonder how good 1440p is at this size though.

it is pretty comfortable at 100% scaling, this replaced a 24" 1920x1200 and feels about the same. At work I have a curved 34" 3440x1440 which is ok, but is comparable and costs 3x more. I also have a 27" 4k which is worse as you have to upscale.

The 8ms response time worries me, have you tried any games?

The specs say 3 ms (grey-to-grey). Dunno, usually the problem is input lag (which I cannot measure) rather than response time. I am not a gamer, just tried a bit of Mass Effect and the testufo.com/ and seemed ok. There are some gaming settings and modes overdrive etc which I dont have time to play with
I can't really see this being useful. When I'm dealing with my Documents I can't find a use for monitors less than 800MHz @ 4k resolution. I'm sorry, its cold from me.

How can you word process with such a low refresh rate? I find that below 1.44 x 10^27 GHz it just feels so stuttery. >.<
Says x2 speakers on the website but on the YouTube review it says no built in speakers? Anyone know which is correct

To be fair, I'm visually challenged (you could call me one of the lucky ones). With post-800MHz 4K displays I don't notice a difference at all no matter how fast I type the strings of text, its clear. Anything otherwise it just doesn't refresh fast enough. When I'm staring at my still desktop background, it just looks like a freaking slideshow.
Native 10-bit?

Why not? High FPS is good and all. But not needed for a lot of things.

Good for photo work dam u hotukdeals
99% sRGB colour coverage and 87% AdobeRGB colour coverage provide richer and more precise colour
If that had a USB 3.0 hub I'd be all over it.
I have a 2012 15" Macbook Pro retina laptop. Could I use this to view to 4k video footage? Of course this is not a 4k monitor.

But the screen resolution of the monitor pretty close to the laptop monitor output. Also I think my laptop is regulated at 30 Ghz. Would this be suitable to view and edit 4k footage?
I added this item to my cart but didn't go through the checkout. Some time later I got an email from them saying I had an item in my cart!

I have never heard or used the website before. How is this possible?

Maybe they run out of stock, I would use insight instead. Both are serious companies.

You can view 4K footage on any monitor of any resolution and your computer will scale the video. Since this is lower than the resolution of your video some details will not be shown.

Your MacBook can output a 2560x1600 signal at 60Hz, so this monitor will work just fine with it.

Through further investigation I think it's via a company more computers use called Cloud IQ. They offer a service called cartRecovery that sends people who addandon their cart an email. They also store your name, email, IP... from any service that uses them and provide that with third party customers.

So a site I used must have used this service and stored information about me in a cookie and on Cloud IQ's servers. They then used this to send me an email when using another site that uses Cloud IQ... Maybe I should start deleting cookies lol
