Who makes the best monitors in your opinion?
I have this exact monitor with for a while and now using it as a second monitor because i upgraded to a 1440p one. I like it but next to my new monitor the colours look terrible

The best bang for buck for 24” 1080p 144hz monitor at the moment is the AOC 24G2U: amazon.co.uk/AOC…LVH

I’ve used it and I can only agree with all of the glowing reviews going around. It was on sale recently too, so keep an eye out.

As for this ViewSonic monitor, it’s supposed to be quite good for its class, but in 2020, TN panels are not a screen I would want to use anymore

Thanks for that mate

My only problem with that monitor (ive been looking for 2 weeks now!) is that it doesn't have VGA (i need it to connect to an older PC as that monitor has now died, but i wanted to buy a good monitor now as i will one day replace that PC) and that i was really looking for a 27 inch monitor

Any suggestions please?

Just get a VGA to DVI adapter.

Even when the monitor doesn’t have a dvi connector?
I'm thinking of getting a new monitor. Would anyone like to help?

I'm looking for 1440p and over 100 Hz. I don't game online but I still want a low Ms response time. I currently have a Iiyama Blackhawk 24.5" and I wish the colours were a bit more vibrant and poppin. Contrast ratio is 1000:1.
I'm thinking 24-27" is the right size. Would be willing to look at ultrawide but I wouldn't want to lose much height.
I've found a few between £200-300 and I don't really want to go above that.

Thanks in advance
Got a XG2405 off Amazon Spain. 144, IPS. Colours are genuinely great, deeper than my dell.

Funny this model isn’t for sale here.

Was £180 ish

Absolutely HDMI to VGA in that case but will be more expensive as has to be an active adapter
