Product Description

The ViewSonic XG2703-GS is the ideal display for gamers

who require ultimate performance, rendering every frame your GPU can

output in breathtaking detail. Featuring an incredible 165Hz refresh

rate, as well as NVIDIA’s G-Sync Technology, the XG2703-GS' variable

refresh rate capabilities virtually eliminate screen tearing and

stuttering for unbelievably fluid gameplay during fast-paced action

sequences. Featuring cutting-edge display technology, this monitor

boasts a 2560x1440 WQHD SuperClear IPS-type panel for enhanced colour

accuracy and greater viewing angles. A fast response time lets you seize

control of the action, while low input lag provides smooth screen

performance even in the most graphic-intense sequences. For a

game-winning competitive edge, a Game Mode feature optimizes visuals for

FPS, RTS and MOBA. On top of that, a Dark Boost function helps you

target enemies lurking in the dark, while the monitor maintains

brilliantly rich colors and contrast. With a gamer-inspired ergonomic

stand that features an integrated headphone hook and cable management

functionality, the XG2703-GS has all you need to conquer your gaming

quests.

Please Note: IPS (In-Plane-Switching) is a technology for

LCD displays that offers users wider viewing angles and bolder colours

by allowing more light to pass through the panel. As a result, IPS

panels can exhibit a slight glow around the edges and corners (also

known as light bleed), which is entirely normal.

Unless I’m missing something this seems like a ridiculous price for a 27” QHD monitor even if it does have G-Sync.

Good luck finding a better monitor than this

This is a pretty spot in spec for a high end monitor! 2k 165hz with g-sync and IPS!

Pretty standard price for 27" QHD 144hz G-Sync monitors, G-sync pushes the price up massively

I'm still waiting for this spec (1440p, G-Sync, similar or lower Hz) to become a bit more affordable. Having to pay the extra for G-Sync is a bit of a pain but it's worth it I suppose. I voted hot as I haven't seen much better while browsing for this kind of spec recently.

I don't think we'll see any better prices, was looking at the AOC similar spec and it's on sale but the sale price is £30 more now than it was at release

Ah really? That's disheartening I guess it'll be a while until any real noticeable price drops then.

The joys of Brexit... Same thing with RAM and SSD's prices are either the same or more than they were, it's really shitty time to be a PC gamer looking to upgrade with the stupid prices even GFX card prices are fucked thanks to the crypto miners

Been after a new monitor for a while now since I got my 1080ti so can't really refuse this price for the best 1440p g-sync monitor on the market

That was why I prefaced my comment with ‘unless I’m missing something’.

As someone who likes and uses high-end technology, I cannot see why I would want to spend this kind of money - it just seems like poor value, as I’d need something like a GTX 1080 (also expensive) and similar level CPU to fully-utilise it. It seems a lot like when 3D monitors first came out and they were also hideously expensive - I could be wrong or maybe this who section has totally passed me by

I paid £559 back in July. Haven't regretted it once.

It's a glorious screen for gaming and fantastic for digital art.

It's mainly due to the G-Sync tax which makes the G-Sync so much more expensive than the Free Sync versions, if you're AMD then yeah this is really overpriced but if you've got a 1070 to Titan you really cant' find a better deal if you're after a 1440p G-Sync monitor

Thanks ordered, it was between this and the Dell but I think is was the better choice and was the better price too.

Stop talking... You use high end technology but haven't got a graphics card like a 1080? You get what you pay for with high end technology, and this is a very decent price for the tech in today's market.

Bought this the other day from the Amazon Warehouse for £467 and so far it's been fantastic.

I have this monitor, love it. It's really, really good

I would have agreed it being worth it that is if it wasnt for freesync being the same thing for way way cheaper . . .

Yeah agreed, unfortunately I don't have an AMD card so I can't really take advantage of it. I'm jealous of AMD owners!

Managed to get it even cheaper because they send the wrong plug type, technically illegal by them but for the discount they offered and me having a spare plug that fits anyway I'll let it slide rather than go through the inconvenience of sending back a perfectly working monitor and waiting for a replacement.

What monitor do you have? Do you notice screen tearing with it without G-Sync? I'm wondering whether it's actually worth spending the extra for a G-Sync monitor

Got one, came looking like a return which has been re-sent out. Also had a EU plug rather than UK (not standard kettle plug). Amazon just want to refund.. monitor price now sky high (as if 549 wasnt enough).

It seems as if you write the words Apple or Gaming on something you can charge whatever you like.
Imagine how much an Apple Gaming monitor would be?

No longer available?

This was a Black Friday deal which has only just been made hot. I think it went out of stock over that weekend.
