Niceday Malaga Leather- Faced Executive Chair Black @ Viking Direct
453°
Found 11th DecFound 11th Dec
Having seen many cheapy cheapy chair deals posted on here, I thought I'd have a go and see whether this will be any better as this will give you that "exec" look.....

Thank you - Father’s Christmas present sorted!

I had one of these once. Generally okay. The leather seat isn't terribly padded - I used it during the summer for some contract work I was doing at home. I had to use a cushion for extra bum padding, and the leather really does make you a bit sweaty betwixt the gams, in hot weather - so I'd recommend this for occasional use and not for 8 hour stretches.

Also - the covering on the arms was faux leather, so don't be like me and idly pick at it when you're thinking or it looks scrappy in no time.

Also, the mechanism creaks quite markedly when you rock back and forth.

Totally fine for occasional use, as I said.

We once ordered 2 similar chairs from Viking and they came ready assembled in a massive box!

thx. just bought for husband

been looking for a chair for a long while. Seen the link for the comments, seems to be decent.

Still on my account - was just going to order loads of rolls then I thought to myself 19mm?
Oh no!
That's the tiddly little rolls with small core - do I order it or not? Then 19p is not much, but...
Decent tape is 25mm wide with wide core to fit my dispenser. Tiddly rolls go in tiddly dispensers and waste of time. I can get 5 large rolls in Poundland for ...a £1 - I make that 20p a roll. NO CONTEST, even if this is Scotch.

Anyway there is a better bargain on Viking, just found, IF you need mailing bubble bags.

No, it won't deter me at all, seems too many members are too quick to pull the trigger, I searched high and low for a deal for the xtra model that includes the Airobrush and hard floor tools and this was the cheapest I could find by some margin.

Having said that I do see the deal posted the other day for the 620W model for £95 also on Viking Direct, if buying the tools separately it comes in a little more than this deal however it may well be worth the small extra cost for the extra 40W.

Pub

Thanks for posting but it might be worth your while doing a price comparison with other websites on this product

This is most expensive I have ever seen this product,These normally retail for £85 to £95 and with some codes may be even cheaper.

Welcome to the community and I hope my comments don't deter you from posting further deals.

It takes 5 seconds to empty. And to be fair needs emptying only once a month in my house. No need for bags. If you have deep pile carpets like I do dyson wins hands down. Plus dyson comes with a 5 year warranty. I'e had my one 7 years now. Only thing I've has to change is the head, which cost £30. No bags to buy ever, and is still really quiet. That' why small vacuum shops love selling cylinder vacuums. They make their money selling bags. Like I said each to their own. As long as your happy.

Upright cleaners certainly have advantages on carpets. The total cost of ownership for Miele, Henry or any bagged vacuum cleaner is much less than Dyson even taking into account the cost of bags vs warranty.

They rely on the brush power which just moves the dirt and if you're lucky it gets sucked up. I had uprights (mainly Dyson) for years before seeing the light. I chose Miele C2 (Henry's closest rival for price and function) and whilst I know what you mean about cylinder vacuums being slightly harder to use, once you master the technique, the results are infinitely better and take far less time.I was annoyed with myself for being fooled by Dyson marketing for so long. The hours I spent cleaning it, swapping parts, untangling stuff from the brush, emptying it (because the capacity is so small), not to mention the cost of replacing parts that frequently break (particularly the hose).

My in laws swore by their Henry they had never had a upright vacuum, other than the old ones. My father in law ownd a vacuum repair shop. Told him to try the new dysons. Him and his wife said they'd never go back to a Henry. I know they are a lot more expensive. But makes vacuuming a joy.

Got a Henry really good product, you can go door frames and reach ceilings in most regular homes. Also it will pick most things don’t have to worry about damaging filters or emptying it every time you use it. Really they a a really good sized cable 10metres as well so you can get round a small Hse from one plug point.

Likewise I have one. Excellent for 6 x 4 prints on the fly. No worries about printheads drying out. Wireless prints directly from phone is really handy.
I paid close to £100 for mine so this is a reasonable deal. Heat added.

These are the absolute BEST option for printing photos at home.
You get 100% same photo that you get from professional photo print services in stores.
The cost of supplies is very reasonable as well.
Highly recommended.

I bought the postcard photo paper instead of the normal photo paper, and send as postcard during travelling. it is much cheaper than buying inflated postcard from tourist attraction.

Switching printer on/off can sometimes cause it to go out of sync with the ribbon and you loose 1 prints worth of ribbon. So you get to end of ribbon 36 prints worth but still have a couple of sheets of paper left and you realise it's not lasted for total 36 prints. This means the cost per print is actually more. One advantage these little printers have is they do not suffer with print heads clogging with ink. They have been around for many many years and changed very little in that time.

High end ergonomic chairs are generally expensive. They have to be incredibly user friendly, comfortable for extended periods of time, good for your posture and have to be designed to look incredibly slick like a designer piece of furniture. On top of this they are made to last for life. All replaceable and customisable parts. I agree with you that 800-900 (some editions way above a grand) is super expensive, I have better things to be spending that amount of cash on than a chair, but when you can pick one up cheap 100-200, like I did, its an absolute steal. All I needed to do on mine is tighten up some screws and it was pretty much back to brand new again, took ten minutes, people buy and sell them as a business. Highly recommended, keep your eyes on Gumtree.

I got a similar one for 30 ish quid from viking afew years ago from a deal posted on here. Has been a good chair, not mega comfortable and some of the pleather has torn near the arm rests, and i put better quality bolts in it instead of the crappy ones it came with that kept going loose. But all in all it was a good purchase and hassle free delivery. This one looks abit posher so probs abit better than my one.
