Spend £50 and get 5000 nectar points @ Viking
Found 16th FebFound 16th Feb
5,000 points on your 1st transaction between 1-28 Feb, plus 3x points for the next 2 months when ordering stationery & office supplies with Viking.

I am afraid not : the term (on nectar viking page) shows: excluding purchase of stamps, delivery charges and VAT Also someone here already mention buying gift voucher was turned down to get nectar point offer. As this offer exclude VAT, so one has to spend £60 +/- to get this offer. I also believe Viking 's price is always expensive too. So beware.

Yeah me too, awful company.

I wouldn't bother with Stamps or Gift Cards. I took this deal a couple of years ago and bought Playstation Credit and Viking refused the nectar points.

Pretty good deal, needed a new office chair so this will do nicely. Thanks OP

Your rough calculation is wrong. 5000 Nectar points = £25

Niceday Malaga Leather- Faced Executive Chair Black @ Viking Direct
Found 11th Dec 2017Found 11th Dec 2017
Having seen many cheapy cheapy chair deals posted on here, I thought I'd have a go and see whether this will be any better as this will give you that "exec" look.....

Thank you - Father’s Christmas present sorted!

I had one of these once. Generally okay. The leather seat isn't terribly padded - I used it during the summer for some contract work I was doing at home. I had to use a cushion for extra bum padding, and the leather really does make you a bit sweaty betwixt the gams, in hot weather - so I'd recommend this for occasional use and not for 8 hour stretches. Also - the covering on the arms was faux leather, so don't be like me and idly pick at it when you're thinking or it looks scrappy in no time. Also, the mechanism creaks quite markedly when you rock back and forth. Totally fine for occasional use, as I said.

We once ordered 2 similar chairs from Viking and they came ready assembled in a massive box!

thx. just bought for husband

been looking for a chair for a long while. Seen the link for the comments, seems to be decent. Hmm......still deciding

Never got my tape either! I’m the on phone now for the last 20 plus minutes trying to sort it. Me thinks the OP is a w***ker

Still on my account - was just going to order loads of rolls then I thought to myself 19mm? Oh no! That's the tiddly little rolls with small core - do I order it or not? Then 19p is not much, but... Decent tape is 25mm wide with wide core to fit my dispenser. Tiddly rolls go in tiddly dispensers and waste of time. I can get 5 large rolls in Poundland for ...a £1 - I make that 20p a roll. NO CONTEST, even if this is Scotch. Anyway there is a better bargain on Viking, just found, IF you need mailing bubble bags. Usual price is 15.49 box 50 (still online at that) but different order no gets them for just 6.99 a box! :D

Order was cancelled in the end as they said the voucher was only valid on some accounts.

Dear customer, It appears you placed an order using a voucher code which was not sent to you. Oh what!!!? How is it a misprice, it's still listed as 19p on their website! That's ridiculous, sorry about that everyone :( Hopefully some of you got your orders fulfilled.

Anyone else checked their warranty status and found it expired on the 14th December? Says it was activated September 2016???

Possibly worst experience ever, these idiots with basically forgetting me and being absolutely useless made me miss this deal, trying to blame the manufacturer and stock issues for their competence was rather interesting. Would you guys push for anything from them? i mentioned they should supply the printers at the cost i would of paid, but that didnt go down to well XD

At the time Quidco were offering 11% - so I put in a highest cashback guarantee with Topcashback and they matched the 11% offer.

How did you get TCB to match Quidco please? I got the standard TCB cashback...

My 50.00 cashback was paid last week. I used the voucher to take it down to 54.99 and Topcashback matched Quidco 11% so this was actually free - best deal I've ever had, and the printer is great! Viking 28 Nov 2017 £49.99 £5.54 payable I think I got a free printer + 55p! Amazing!

OOS good luck to those who managed to order. I do wish people would not contact live chat or a Company direct with these type deals. All they do is draw the Companies attention to any miss price or bargain deals and muck it up for those who did manage to order!

while i agree i feel theres no harm in trying, i went for it anyway. in it to win it and all that jazz.

Sorry, I should have said, oos when you go to complete checkout. Allows backorder but no chance of it being fulfilled at that price.

Live chat says its a price feed error, they are aware of the issues which is why we can't check out, and they are trying to get the price corrected asap. Good luck to those that got through (y)

At checkout now with 3 of them and allowing me to backorder them ... Hopefully price stays same on backorder !

No, it won't deter me at all, seems too many members are too quick to pull the trigger, I searched high and low for a deal for the xtra model that includes the Airobrush and hard floor tools and this was the cheapest I could find by some margin. Having said that I do see the deal posted the other day for the 620W model for £95 also on Viking Direct, if buying the tools separately it comes in a little more than this deal however it may well be worth the small extra cost for the extra 40W. Pub

Thanks for posting but it might be worth your while doing a price comparison with other websites on this product This is most expensive I have ever seen this product,These normally retail for £85 to £95 and with some codes may be even cheaper. Welcome to the community and I hope my comments don't deter you from posting further deals.

Henry Vacuum Cleaner £95.99 @ Viking direct

Can't seem to find the £30 or £60 deals people are referring to at Tesco or Asda, this seems to be the cheapest current price for it. Next best would be £109 at Homebase.

Upright cleaners certainly have advantages on carpets. The total cost of ownership for Miele, Henry or any bagged vacuum cleaner is much less than Dyson even taking into account the cost of bags vs warranty.

Each to their own I guess. I have a miele as my work vacuum. I do like them, but for my partner a Dyson is so much easier. It takes 5 seconds to empty. And to be fair needs emptying only once a month in my house. No need for bags. If you have deep pile carpets like I do dyson wins hands down. Plus dyson comes with a 5 year warranty. I'e had my one 7 years now. Only thing I've has to change is the head, which cost £30. No bags to buy ever, and is still really quiet. That' why small vacuum shops love selling cylinder vacuums. They make their money selling bags. Like I said each to their own. As long as your happy.

The suction on uprights is hopeless in comparison. They rely on the brush power which just moves the dirt and if you're lucky it gets sucked up. I had uprights (mainly Dyson) for years before seeing the light. I chose Miele C2 (Henry's closest rival for price and function) and whilst I know what you mean about cylinder vacuums being slightly harder to use, once you master the technique, the results are infinitely better and take far less time. I was annoyed with myself for being fooled by Dyson marketing for so long. The hours I spent cleaning it, swapping parts, untangling stuff from the brush, emptying it (because the capacity is so small), not to mention the cost of replacing parts that frequently break (particularly the hose).

Got a Henry really good product, you can go door frames and reach ceilings in most regular homes. Also it will pick most things don’t have to worry about damaging filters or emptying it every time you use it. Really they a a really good sized cable 10metres as well so you can get round a small Hse from one plug point.

I have a hetty.

Likewise I have one. Excellent for 6 x 4 prints on the fly. No worries about printheads drying out. Wireless prints directly from phone is really handy. I paid close to £100 for mine so this is a reasonable deal. Heat added.

These are the absolute BEST option for printing photos at home. You get 100% same photo that you get from professional photo print services in stores. The cost of supplies is very reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

got this printer for a while. it is really good for travelling. Compact, Quick to print from phone via wifi. I bought the postcard photo paper instead of the normal photo paper, and send as postcard during travelling. it is much cheaper than buying inflated postcard from tourist attraction.

Switching printer on/off can sometimes cause it to go out of sync with the ribbon and you loose 1 prints worth of ribbon. So you get to end of ribbon 36 prints worth but still have a couple of sheets of paper left and you realise it's not lasted for total 36 prints. This means the cost per print is actually more. One advantage these little printers have is they do not suffer with print heads clogging with ink. They have been around for many many years and changed very little in that time.

Guess you need to get cash back sorted out before midnight tonight

High end ergonomic chairs are generally expensive. They have to be incredibly user friendly, comfortable for extended periods of time, good for your posture and have to be designed to look incredibly slick like a designer piece of furniture. On top of this they are made to last for life. All replaceable and customisable parts. I agree with you that 800-900 (some editions way above a grand) is super expensive, I have better things to be spending that amount of cash on than a chair, but when you can pick one up cheap 100-200, like I did, its an absolute steal. All I needed to do on mine is tighten up some screws and it was pretty much back to brand new again, took ten minutes, people buy and sell them as a business. Highly recommended, keep your eyes on Gumtree.

Genuinely curious, always hear people talking about Herman Miller's, but why are they so expensive? What can it offer to be worth 800-900, other than a brand name?

I got a similar one for 30 ish quid from viking afew years ago from a deal posted on here. Has been a good chair, not mega comfortable and some of the pleather has torn near the arm rests, and i put better quality bolts in it instead of the crappy ones it came with that kept going loose. But all in all it was a good purchase and hassle free delivery. This one looks abit posher so probs abit better than my one.

You get what you pay for with chairs, for the amount of time your sat in it its worth paying for something worthwhile. Whilst Herman Miller's are expensive you can pick them up used for pretty cheap, £100-£200. What most people dont know is that all parts are replaceable and fully serviceable/user friendly. In short they will last a life time. I got a Herman Miller Aeron for a hundred quid used and its one of the best purchases Ive ever made (they go for £800-900 new). Check gumtree and ebay!

Was just having a look around and came across this below. Looks pretty comfortable like the Goliath but half the price CLP XXL Office Chair VANCOUVER, heavy duty: weight capacity 235 kg black

I emailed Voucher Cloud. At first they said that Gift Vouchers were not excluded. But they also said that the promotion is run by Viking who reserve the right to not issue Amazon vouchers at their discretion. However, then they emailed back with this: The Account manager has managed to speak with Viking and we've been informed that sadly the offer does not apply to gift cards or gift voucher purchases So unfortunately, if you did buy these you would not receive the £20 Amazon voucher

There is a £30 voucher for a £200 spend too.
