Might have to get one at that price. Cheers OP...

No morrisons in Northern Ireland but heat anyway

I've had two steam mops and both left my floors soaking wet, anyone know if these are any better?

Good spot. Saw someone holding one of these in store yesterday and wondered why!

Anyone have one and can share their experience? Good or don't bother?!

Anything to help out 'er indoors....

I've also a steam mop but liked the cordless idea of this mop so bought one for £35 from tesco, it takes a couple of squirts to shift the cooler water out and get the claimed 100c water, with regards to the whether it leaves your floor soaking will all depend on how many times you pull the trigger.

is it good for carpets or just the hard floor?

just been round to my local. . none in there

Just hard wood according to the Amazon data, gutted - Could use a carpet one myself

DO NOT USE STEAM CLEANERS ON REAL WOOD!! You have been warned, as wood is a natural product and absorbs moisture (I repair these floors all the team due to these types of cleaners)

reviews are not good at all

This is a spray mop, not a steam one.

Saying that, just picked one up from Morrisons Belle Vale. They are located at the front of the middle row of aisles, directly facing the tills

There were about 5 left. No prices on any but can confirm they scan at £14.98

Correct comment there unless your wood is waterproof don't use this on it. Over time it will puff up, rot away, turn black etc. This is only for sealed laminates, lino, tiles etc.

Steam mops can usually be used on carpets and rugs and they are great as they'll kill 99% of bacteria.

Well, I used to clean my engineered wood floor with water, wood detergent and mop... cant imagine avoiding water.

Now have got steam cleaner and it seem to use much less water in the first place.

I've just cleaned the wood couple of times. Way quicker, less hassle less water than mop.
We'll see in a year.

As said, this machine is forcing steam ie: water into a material which is susceptible to moisture. Suppose I'll just have to keep on repairing floors when they go wrong with these type of machines

wouldnt bother buyin. its dreadful boufht two one for me and one for mother. not impressed
