Either the hotels really all do look the same or that's the Portsmouth branch pictured I believe.
This offer has been out for weeks and has been posted already.

We always stay at Bournemouth and it has always been great. However, last visit was pretty awful. In the evening they only had the sports bar open for dinner. They were woefully understaffed and the guy serving us said he didn't know how to operate the till. One of the diners ended up demanding to see the manager on duty and shouting at her to get some people behind the bar. The room was also poorly cleaned! I have stayed in better Travelodges. Won't be going back to Village Hotels (at least Bournemouth!)
Also they have removed the phones, so
to complain you have to use an app,
which does not work.
The hot tub is out for a 2 weeks also
.

Cheers for the heads up, disappointed really booked for misses birthday on 4th Jan, there carpark must hold at least 100 cars shame really.
Does anybody know how these things work with a third person, a child (age 12) in the room? Can you contact the hotel direct to add them on or are the deals just a no in this scenario?

I will be there for the 6th with my missess, her birthday. Yeah easy hundred cars and you can always get a space.
Newcastle is out for me sadly. Don't like bland rotten texture powder processed egg for breakfast. Are there any south east England or Scotland hotels that still crack open proper eggs?
london watford

so central
I don't know if them going downhill has anythign to do with them being an American company trying to squeeze every cent out in profit but then Travelodge is owned by an American company too and is generally a more straightfoward offering.

It says a lot that the Travelodge breakfast is better than Village Hotels.

To be fair you can order poached/fried eggs when you enter.
My wife also has porridge, which again you have to ask for.
The breakfast though does lack against premier inn.
No black pudding/hash browns, good sausages.
i use aberdeen often in the £59 deal. no compaints

At which hotel is that? Is all very well but I doubt very much that is all hotels and expect attitude will vary between locations. Regardless of this I don't think one should have to hunt down a member of staff to request real eggs at a breakfast buffet.

Are you guys friends in real life? #banter #friends
I used to love the Village setup but my last 2 visits have put me off.

None of the rooms (including the 'club' ones) have glasses in any more. Nor do they have - get this - a bin (just a diddy little one in the bathroom).

The tassimo machines are gone too.
which is link to £37 ...... link please

Might be easier parking in asda over night?

Dicey!! Most of the rooms I've stayed in have had just a bed and big armchair (Blackpool, Wirral, Newcastle, Manchester Cheadle).

The only time I've had a room with a sofa was when we complained about our room and were moved in to a Family room (which had 2 sofas and a floor space big enough for a game of giant chess).
