I meant your comment reads like you wrote it about your own experience to anyone reading it who hasn't followed the thread of comments. If you put quotation marks around it or something it would make it clear
Yes this is my site and don't you forget it!!
Unlikely anyone would choose to use the Coventry one but just as an FYI. The pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are completely closed until some time in the middle of October (and thats if they finish things on time)

No mention of the included drink. It doesn't matter anyway now as I was looking at Bournemouth but not anymore, the Trip Advisor reviews are shocking!

Not sure which reviews you are focusing on but overall the hotel gets 4/5 on trip advisor. You are looking at booking a room for £35 a night. I'd say that's a great price for what you are getting.

Excellent! That's a great price, no idea why Glasgow is nominally excluded.

Add a year.
Glasgow is one of the newer ones. The pool etc is fab. We drove to nearest station parked car for free and took train into glasgow. Cheaper than paying for a days parking! Glasgow has a sightseeing hop on hop off bus. Christmas market and lights were good.

I remember having a pleasant walk into Glasgow Centre from the Village Hotel. The Fairfield museum is close heading West, but yes all walkable.

Stayed 2 nights at the chester St David's
Cracking 2 nights , the club ( upperdeck rooms ) are definitely 3.5 - 4 star .
Restaurant and bar very new and modern.
Pool area small but good and nice new jacuzzi, 2 steam rooms/Sauna
15 minute drive into the city centre .
Would have no problem booking this place again .

Upgraded to club room to guarantee pool access and sky sports in the room ! £148 for the 2 nights . Pretty good for the 2 nights in the upgraded room with pool access . Will eat out for breakfast and dinner .

Just checked out of there this morning after a couple of nights with breakfast @ £184.

Been to the VH @ Blackpool, which OK, I suppose but the room we had at Chester St Davids VH was dreadful in comparison.

Room 210 had coving peeling badly, chunks of wallpaper missing, blocked sink, mould on ceiling in bathroom, bed was hard, wonky lampshade and a few other little "quirks".

All just little things, but combined, made it a crap experience.

Maybe just unlucky or maybe put there as it was a deal room.

Dunno, but won't be going back.

By contrast, staying @ RP in Wrexham and it is immuclate and only £82 with breakfast (for 3 people).

I had not understood that you wanted two nights, thankfully the deal has expired.

Room 210 is a standard room ? They didn't get the refurbishment.
