Just checked Argos and they have the amiibo villager available for pickup nationwide for in 3-4 days. Seems great for people that want them as they are 30 quid on amazon etc.

great find!

oh this is the discontinued one, should be worth something in the future

not for me but heat given

Can someone tell me what these are about. I have purchased a heck of a lot of skylanders and all or the Disney infinity but these amiibo don't seem to so the same as them. Am I right in assuming these are a glorified memory card or something to store your xp data

Currently:
Great desk fluff if a character you like
Costumes for Mario Kart 8, upcoming One Piece game and Ace Combat
Trainable AI for Smash that gets a helluva lot stronger than the level 9 and if anything like my Samus, enjoys horribly murdering you
Spinner weapon/demented beyblade for Hyrule Warriors if Link Amiibo, random gifts such as rupees, weapons (Got a 5 star Epona of Time from Samus) and mats for badges

Then whatever the hell else they might do in Treasure Tracker, Mario Party, Yoshi's Wooly World or them randomly coming out with a skylanders like sandbox thing.

There is always one person who asks this on every Amiibo post on HDUK. Just go read one of the others posts for an answer

I wouldn't get you hopes up too much, Argos are know for saying they have stock of something in a few days when they don't, they let you get through to the reserve bit but then you get an error. I've had it before.

Argos' website is the worst. Might just be for me but when I try and reserve it tells me it can't guarantee it has processed and I have has no text / email confirmation.

They are in stock in a store near me I'll look tomorrow and no im not going to say which store

not working, it was in stock in all stores but all of a sudden - no stock anywhere

Why don't you reserve one then, then it won't matter if people get there before you.

Is it rooney?

These aren't mega bucks on ebay yet. I thought they were 30-50 but mainly all about 20-25, not tooooo bad

If anyone is trying to get the Villager, Nintendo have it online although you need to purchase the game with it to, you can sell the game though. store.nintendo.co.uk/gam…tml

Still expensive when you consider the game is £30 at Game and Amazon for today. You're effectively buying the Villager Amiibo for £30.

I got a text and email saying my wii fit trainer reservation is ready for collection from 4pm but no mention of the villager which I also reserved at the same time(got an email Monday night when I reserved showing both but the text/email today only mentioned the trainer).

Well picked up wii fit trainer but they had no record of the villager reservation, that's 2 wii fit trainers as I ordered one from game as wasn't sure if the Argos one would come to fruition. Got the villager from Amazon but that's £2.49 more(£12.99 vs £10.50) so was hoping that the Argos one would come through.
