Vinyl records Storage Case - Retro Musique LP.

Nice to see HMV still going in York and saw this in the window.

Stores 40 records and it has a flap so you can easily flick through to see your vinyl and pick out your favorite.

Probably not subtitle for international DJs flying around the world to tear it up in super clubs but perfect for home use and taking some music round to your friends safely.

Next best price I can see is Amazon @ £29.99 and it has good reviews

Hope this helps someone and keeps the vinyl alive

Your partner will be upset if he hears you say "vinyls".

I used to have one of these years ago, as the OP said, not the best quality, but will do to store some records. I used to find that once you took the lid off they became top heavy and your records would all fall over. Heat tho.
Just what I have been looking for. Thanks.

Ikea Kallax shelving units are probably the best option.
Alright for £25 but was never worth £40, when you can get 70-capacity proper DJ flight cases for less. £25 is about its money so it's questionable how good a deal it really is.
the gorilla cases on eBay for 24.95 are decent ,just bought one that holds upto 100 records

So you're going to carry shelving units are you?

Better solution for vinyl storage in the home than multiple carrying cases. See little use for carrying vinyl anyway, unless you're a DJ.
Perfect for me as I only have handful of vinyls and I like HMV.

Wot? I've got a 4-figure amount of vinyls collected over 25 years. Vinyls.

Vinyl is on the way out, too heavy, I use 8 track stereo cassettes, so much lighter.
They're the future, trust me.

I... think you're... missing the point.

I buy my shelving units, sure. How do I carry them around exactly?
Title needs to be changed to Vinyl / Laserdisc storage case

Why do you need to carry all your records around? What many people do is use Ikea Kallax shelves for storing and organising their records at home and then use a record box for transporting a selection of records that they want to take out with them. If you were going to go to the trouble of buying several record boxes to house your vinyl collection in, then surely you'd need to buy a set of shelves anyway to house the record boxes themselves in.

A box that carries up to 40 records is enough for the vast majority of people these days. I.e. Hispters, teenagers, and like me, who never got into vinyl as tapes then CDs were the thing in my day, but now that I have some disposable income and am into hifi, I can dip into vinyl to see what the fuss is about.
I recently bought a few of these in different colours. Much better vfm. Be warned though, heavy when full.

It' not that vinyl collectors want to carry their collection around, more a case (excuse the pun) of wanting to protect their collection.
It' not always practical to have big collections on display , and any shelving has to be up to the task due to the weight of the things.
One album can weigh 180 grams, the total weight can soon add up.

Wow !
Did you go for pink
lol.
I bought 2 pink, 2 black, 2 blue, 2 red.
These aren't flight case quality, but they are sturdy enough.
Well built, strong handle, the lid lifts up and is very easily detachable. And they look very nice.
And you can stack them on top of each other as the feet are the same height as the protrusion of the handle when the handle is laid flat.
