What's the deal?

Seems if you're a red member (or possibly if you sign up), you automatically become a silver member,
I just tried and and got an email saying I'd be seriously rewarded. Logged into my VS account and it now says I'm silver rather than red.

Hot for me - I've just upgraded thanks xx

If I sign up is it totally free and does it protect my miles that have almost expired

I'm not seeing how current RED members can upgrade? I enter my membership number on the deal link and it merely says 'already registered'?

I've just signed up, and have got the red account. How do I upgrade it to the silver account? Can't see how it's done anywhere

Me too

Seems its only for new members. Shame I've already signed up.

Cadmus - if you add new miles your old ones take on the same expiry as the new ones. You can add miles by various means but I use E-rewards surveys as its free (except for my time). Using a VA credit card will also add miles.

I signed up as a newbie but it is only showing me red membership.

Same here just says already registered.

I just signed up and got red. How do I get silver

Upgraded at second login attempt

Sorry I have logged in too and there does not seem to be an offer of an upgrade. I have also followed your link and as above it merely says 'already registered'. How did you get the upgrade please?

Same any help to someone who as got this to work

ditto

not working for me

This is a typical move by Virgin who do the same with their Virgin Media business. Existing customers get no advantages, all deals are for newbies. Best bet is to keep swapping which unfortunately you can't do with this. Good luck to those who join as this is a good deal - but I hope you never have to contact their Help Desk as you could fly to New York quicker.

Just joined, Red membership, logged in and out, still Red membership.

Signed up but can't seem to get the upgrade

OP do you want to explain your post? Think a lot of people are confused.

People posting they have been successful - do you want to explain whether you were a new member or existing and what you did?

Signed mum up but no joy on silver. I have red and no joy on silver.

Works fine, I followed the instructions as given by Xenole.

Upgraded my red membership to silver immediately.

( I was an existing member with virgin on red membership, after following the instructions I'm now on silver).

(edited to add that I was an existing member)

if a Silver member isn't using the REGUS card, would someone be kind enough to sort it out for me?

Found the proper link. This worked for me. I already had an existing flyingclub account
