What do you drive a tank?
if you're looking for half term with the kids, don't bother. £2600 pp for a week in Miami in Feb!! and thats flight only! Hope I saved someone a few minutes!!
Quite disappointing selection of flights/dates available at decent prices compared to previous virgin sales IMO
If you are going to do it and have average length legs only go on premium economy on Virgin.

Their economy class is torture.

Compared to their last winter sale yes this one appears weaker. Lets hope they add some more cheap fares
How much for business
You're welcome.

Yep , the best flight prices always seem to be from London unfortunately
Hand baggage only ?

Most of the flights I've been tracking were more expensive in the Black Friday, Cyber Monday and this crummy sale. It's the worst sale I've seen from these guys.

Thanks for sharing though
TBH this price is without luggage and is available most times during the year if you book in advance...

I am holding out for any sale tickets for Miami in July. Not sure how likely there will be any deals for Miami in July.

Bear in mind, those reading, that schools all over the UK have holidays at different times...
These half term dates will not be the same for all schools uk-wide. So folk would still need to search for their own dates if they get school hols in Feb.

In my area of Scotland we don't get a weeks school hols in Feb.

£2k plus for me on there
You can get this deal on expired.com
Norwegian are doing a similar priced flight as well (at least they were last weekend). At off peak times a one way leg is currently as cheap as £105 though they want extra for baggage and reserves seats.

Last weekend I managed to book a family of 4 to NY from Edinburgh for £1.5k with BA for the first 2weeks of the summer holidays. I found trying to organise flights from Edinburgh to London and then a hotel one way as well was surprisingly expensive and made it the same price but less hassle just booking direct.
Superb price, just paid over 2k for the same trip but flying last week.
Great deal, Heat added,
I managed to get flights from MAN-JFK from late August to early September this year for £250 pp when I booked in Feb. I think I'll hold out again as right now currently not any good prices.
And school summer holiday dates on offer?
Tempting

I'm interested in which airlines you've flown with where economy is better? Always considered them one of the better carriers for 'comfort' in economy.
Hand luggage only - Going abroad and the airline expect us to be with hand luggage only, what a Joke.

I flew with Virgin in July to Vegas economy class and being 5 foot 10 and not too light at 15 stones I didn't find it particularly uncomfortable. I would say I actually preferred it to Emirates which I travelled on in August! Has anyone eve flown British Airways economy as I am considering Vegas with them.
Good (ish) price but Virgin service has really gone down. Just flew to Miami and back in economy and the service was so bad. Seats (A330) were so unformfiratble. I guess all airlines are trying to cut costs

Dont bother, worst flight of my life
I have had bad experience recently with BA - was a flight to Europe. I could have well flown Ryanair and saved myself a bit of money - it quite literally felt like flying Ryanair. My fare wasn’t even cheap, it was over 200£ return off peak (to Berlin)
On top of it, they have such an annoying security/ fasten seat belt video with some weird rock star music. Please don’t forget your headphones like I did to save yourself from this nightmare. I was on a business trip and boarded the plan already very stressed after a full working day and to face something like this is just not acceptable (let’s not talk about the BA bag drop off process at LHR)

Emirates long haul and their service with A380 from LHR-Dubai in economy has gone down as well. It used to be spot on a few years ago.
Heat
Fantastic deal.
