Virgin broadband complaints retention 50mbps for £18 per month for the next 18 months @ virgin media

Don't know if this is a deal as such, however, I used a complaints tool called resolver to complain about a phone call I received offering me broadband for £20 per month for 12 months and I got billed £28 per month, I rang and they said there was nothing they could do.
I then used this tool to try and resolve things, and have just had a call from virgin complaints team offering me 50mbps for £18 (usually £34.99 standard) per month for the next 18 months until September 2019, and they backdated the overpayments, so I'm making no payments for 3 months.

I emailed Richard Branson, and got a free stay for two weeks on his private island, turned it down, and went for this deal....

Is there a link for this Resolver?
Also, is it for any kind of complaints or just for bill queries?
I've been having too many issues recently with download speeds.

It's a very easy tool to navigate, just select the company you wish to complain about, and select the reason, then follow the questions and answer with as much detail as possible.
Resolver always spell out your rights as a consumer before you start the process, so make sure you read them in full.

Cool. Thanks will have a look.
Thanks for the heads up
Resolver is a great tool, it does actually help when you have problems. Not only that but it also offers the ability for some companies to send the complaint to the CEO department.

Edit:

Heat just for mentioning resolver.

Agreed, I used them to resolve a PPI claim I had, no need to pay a claims company 30%
I managed to blag 200meg, phone and mix party plus for £38 a month. They'll always offer a good deal when you cancel and speak nicely
