That's a shame, as I was really looking forward to a free run of one of these, like?. :-(

Oh well, another time instead, perhaps?, lol.

Are you with Virgin Media though?.

Or didn't it matter again (after you switched browser's that is, etc?).

Out of interest, which browser did you find that actually worked for you in the end?, thanx.

Not a browser problem. Only Virgin internet allows you to register. But you can do the trick: register from Virgin internet and complete setup on any PC on any network later.

I used it on my phone Cm browser
I am with virgin so when I used my virgin login details it took me to the renewals page for 25 quid...
I then signed up with my Gmail account and it took me through to the set up page where it asked me where I want to install..
I going to try this when I get home using Gmail set up.

Not specifically WIFI no.

As long as you have a Virgin Broadband line you can do it via a PC using ethernet to modem/router.
404 error on the site.
I hope you have better luck with this then me.
I had this F-Secure (free on one device with Talktalk) on my PC for a few months, but in the end I uninstalled it because it really slowed my PC down.
I ended up putting a free version of bit defender on
I’m a vm customer but coming up as error 404
any ideas?

Really.. I find it very lightweight and doesn't hog any resources. Better than avast, and avira, if you want to free up some system have a look at webroot it's really light on the system

Might wanna give this link a try
my.f-secure.com/emb…=GB
Wasn't working for me through my home Virgin Broadband (Kept getting the errors as mentioned above). Googled "Virgin broadband f-secure" and went to this page : virginmedia.com/hel…afe.

Scroll down the page until you see the red links for both PC trial and Mobile trial. I clicked on the PC link, registered and voila, free years subscription for upto 5 devices. Hope this helps someone else.

Thanks OP
Worked for me on the home network with VM. Thanks and have some heat.
I like the free part, just concerned about having to remember to cancel it before the trial ends and end up paying £25 a year...

During the signup process it was clearly stated that your subscription will end after 12 months automatically. They would have a hard time enforcing that fee anyway as you are at no point asked to put payment information in.

Did you try the link I posted on an earlier post? I was also getting through to the "paid" version page but was able to sign up for the free year through my posted link.
