Where exactly? The only one I can find is a cheaper virgin SIM with less minutes and texts from the other week.

it advertising the 6 month Contract Free just cause its posting the 150 offer at the top doesnt mean its only that

I'm on the 150 txt 150 mins for £15 a month virgin deal at the moment, got my chequeback from CPW a few days ago, but this seems a much better deal. how long before I can do another with them? Hot

i get this deal but as part of virgin medias 4 for 40 pound therefore only paying £10 for same deal.
Also when i upgraded from 3 for 30 to 4 for 40 they upgraded tv to a size up so now i have all channels except sky sports

Can someone please explain in detail how this works.
I'm not that up on phones so not really sure.

looks good

Sounds like a good offer to me, my only concern is the last month of contract. When do you have to cancel it so you don't go into the 7th month and start getting charged but still qualify to get the £120 cash back :?

is this coming up as 150 mins and 750 texts for anyone else?

just watch any of the cpw or linked companies cash back deals, sent mine in as per instructions and they claim the bill was out of date (had to send in bill on the 26th of month so sent bill dated 2nd of that month arrived on the 1st of the following month but in the small print bill cant be anymore than 28 days old) now lost all of the 12 months cash back of £360.00

Are you sure that you bought yours from CPW? As far as I know CPW have never had T&Cs where if you mess up one claim it invalidates the others. E2Save and OSPS did for a while with their 'Price Match' offers. Unless you had a deal where you only sent in one claim for £360 - which would be very unusual.

The T&Cs on this seem pretty clear and fair. Can't see a problem with it at all.

I got the 150+150 sim from CPW, and Quidco payed out £60. Just about to send off my cashback claim to CPW as well, for profit.

Probably a silly question but only ever has payg but is their a way to check on free minutes/texts so you don't go over?

Couldn't agree more - they're not to be trusted at all. In my case they didn't send the cheque that was due and then pretended not to have received the claim. Fortunately I had proof of delivery, and they agreed eventually to pay up. I've had similar problems with them before, as have the rest of the family. You can get the money out of them, but often it's a struggle and you have to threaten them with legal action.

Who are "they"? CPW, E2Save or OSPS? My brother-in-law has just had 2 E2Save Virgin mobile SIM only deals finish and had no problem with cashbacks. I have been with them in the past and only had one problem which was sorted after a phone call to them.

It's funny how some people have loads of problems (your whole family managed to have problems) whilst others are happy.

Granted - you take your chances with deals like this - but what is the alternative? Pay £20 per month direct to Virgin safe in the knowledge you won't get done over by CPW or take this out with a good chance you will pay at worst £20 per month and at best make a £5 profit?

I have just finished this deal with Virgin... does anyone know if I can go on it again somehow? and keep the same number? would I have to transfer out and then sign up again for it.. via carphonewarehouse etc... the terms do not say that you can do it only once..

btw. for those asking, I did port my number into virgin and CPW still paid out.

They will send you a TXT each month to tell you how many you have used also you can TXT them a message, forget the number at the moment, and they'll TXT you back with how many minutes you have used or you can check on line at the Virginmobile site

hope that helps

Does Virgin Mobile do a decent data package yet? Can't see anything on their site...

Thanks captain

On Virgin you can dial 789 at any time to hear how many minutes and texts you have remaining.

This has cost me £90 for the 6 months (6x15). The quidco was £60. That means that even without the cashback it has only cost £30 for 6 months of 150 minutes and 150 texts which I think is no too bad.

When I took it out I asked Virgin if I could port my existing Virgin number to this new sim. They said that that is not allowed.

Hi DaleUK,

Can you tell me HOW you ported the number across? Thanks,

Phoned CPW.

Firstly told I couldn't transfer my Virgin PAYG number to this deal as it's the same provider.
That sounds like discrimination to me, but there you go.

Anyway, I rang again and got someone else and was told I could.
So I did!

I don't know if the story is that PAYG -> contract is acceptable or what.
I didn't like to ask.

Hot Deal.
Thanks.

Cool Paul,

Thanks. I have an Orange number that i want to port across. I take it you cant use quidco if you ring them up?

mine quidco tracked for £5. hit and rep added.

So can i port my contract vodafone number to this deal?

ps i hav just finished my 6 month contract well it will be ending next month, i wanted to ask can i still do this deal?

how would it work?

ps got my cashback didnt even take long!

but now they have changed it by giving cashback on the 6th bill not 4th!

Just been speaking to CPW and virgin and both are saying that you CAN take your PAYG mobile number into this offer.
I have already placed the order and just waiting for quidco to track to see if it tracks at £5 or £60.

Got the confirmation email but it says:

1 x Virgin Mobile pay monthly SIM only (0.0)
with 1 month FREE .

1 month free? What? Have you got anything similar on the confirmation but it was ok when it arrived?
