Good deal, Virgin Media's Fibre Braodband has to be the best in the country without a doubt, not sure if anyone can come close to them in terms of Speed!
Got the exact same package for £19/m equivalent after new customer credits two months ago.

This may be the best deal just now but it ain't that great really.

Yes it was £32 got an email saying it was going up £3 last year so cancelled the lot waited for retentions and they reduced it to £30-40p and gave me a free v6 box which at the time they were charging for,My free line rental runs out next month so i will be ringing up and cancelling again.
had 100 line with them called and got free upgrade to 200 just by calling them
How does the “up to” £100 bill credit work?

What’s the stability of the connection like with virgin? I’m with sky adsl which is useless as I’m experiencing constant stability issues. I’m looking for a decent fibre unlimited deal.

Coax from the street cab to your house.
I think the retention deal you get is down to luck ! I was offered very little originally next time I called another agent offered me £31 a month for weekend calls, player tv and 100 speed BB. Although others have much better deals this was fine for me. If you don’t get offered much try again- we don’t use phone or tv much apart for recording a few programs

You don't get retentions when you ring ,You have to cancel and then retentions will be in touch.

I suggest you do some research regarding what % of UK population can get HyperOptic! Proof is in the pudding. HyperOptic might have better speed but if only a tiny population can get it, for vast majority VM is still the best

sales advisor reckons its deducted from your monthly bills from the begining until it runs out ...for instance my first bill shows a -£80 (activation fee)...and am guessing the following two months £29 will be deducted

Adding on to croftg little trick...i phoned up today saying i wanted to cancel and got offered the 50 quid discount, thats an extra £5 applied to the 10 months to reduce it to £24 from £29...
If you go via 'Quidco Broadband Compare' and select 'Player TV Bundle with Fibre Broadband and Talk Weekends' you will get £144 cashback with £29 /month.

Isn't the player TV bundle £35 per month
It is £29/month including TV(Player). I believe it is much better deal than this although quidco cashback is not guaranteed.

Nice one
Got this for £26pm + £100 credit only a few days ago.
Remember to get a refer a friend for an extra £50 (on top of other offers). Happy to refer.
Sorry to spam comment. Also if you ask or say it's not good enough they're pretty liberal with add-ons, they offered me 3 months of sky sports + 6 months of virgin TV

Irrelevant. The statement stands. VM is miles behind them in speed, if you live in one of the few areas where it's available then it's a no brainer. VM have been behind for years. And all the ADSL2 providers are in the dark ages. When random eastern european crap holes can get miles better internet than us, you know something's wrong here.

Just had a look at the HyperOptic coverage map - you definitely can't call anywhere else a crap hole.
I been trying to get since 10 years and it they never ever make it in my area , unfortunately their coverage spreading speed is slowest ever

Well said, that’s the point I was trying to make, they might have the best speed, but then if no one in the country (not literally) can get it then what’s the point
