I have just signed up to this deal as I am sick of Plusnet. I think this is an absolute steal. £29 on a 12 month contract £20 setup fee. For £29 you get 100mb fibre, phone line and tv player PLUS you get a free Amazon Dot worth £50! Deal ends this evening, you have just under 4 hours to sign up.

Maximum cash back on Quidco is showing £125 and that is for the top bundle. At the £125 cash back is only for the VIP bundle which is £88 a month so not really comparable to this deal unfortunately.

I’m having trouble getting a retention deal. They won’t play nice. I wish I could get this.
What was wrong for you on plusnet may I ask? I moved to VM couple of weeks back from plusnet fibre . So far I can say that PN broadband was much more reliable and stable as compared to VM .Plus also upload speed is very low from virgin as compared to 20mbps from PN / Bt. If you have any smart devices like ring door bell or wifi camera which stores to cloud, remember you need good upload speed as well.

Plusnet used to be fine for me but over the past year, it’s regularly dropping connection for short periods. I’m supposed to get up to 37mb but hardly ever get those speeds. It varies so much- anything from 12mb usually up to around 22mb which is shocking for fibre imo.

My dad has virgin 100mb and it is always consistently high so thought I’d give it a go . His upload is usually around 5mb so a little lower than plusnet but I can live with that 😁.

How does this work?
Do I have to let everything cancel then “renew” under mrs name?

...I am trying to do this, but upon entering our postcode it fails to proceed Do I have to cancel first my "contract" and wait till it will run out to sign up for a new deal under Mrs' details?
Had my virgin fibre installed this afternoon. 110mb on the first few speed tests and 7mb upload 😁 . Crazy that I was paying plusnet £29, the same amount as Virgin. I was lucky to get 20mb on plusnet.
