I’d be interested to hear how existing VM customers with broadband + an unwanted phone line (circa £37/m in total) will get on when they want to swap to this deal.
30 for 100mb
better
Oh! Interested in this - I take it this is for BB only, no line rental needed & no TiVo? I can live without TiVo and my land line hasn't worked in over a year!
I just visited the web site - why did I just read it as "Full on Fapp"?

I just need to convince everyone else to use the internet to watch TV shows now!
Of course it appears they don't do a TiVo & BB only package...
It's £17/month I don't need to pay (we have 15 active mobile phones & 4 MiFi devices - no need for a land line anymore!)
I only pay £33.70 for 300mb??
I pay £23 for 100Mbps
£27 for 200Mb here

I'm paying £38 for 200mb + TV + Phone
How are you guys getting itn so cheap?
Does anyone know if having a landline affects credit rating. I had it for last 8 years but haven't used it even a once during that time. My credit rating is excellent at the moment according to credit report so I'm not sure if I should cancel off the landline to save a line rental cost.

Any ideas as my upgrade time is this month. Also any tips or tricks to get a good deal (been with virgin for 8 years hopefully will get a good deal?)?

Retention deals after giving notice and taking it to the brink.
Beware that VM relentlessly raise the price once you've signed up with a DD.

Your credit history is what Virgin etc can see, your rating is just a number provided by Experian and all.

Yes - that's good advice - they keep raising the prices. I talked to them about that and was advised to ring in at least every 6 months for the best deals...
I just phoned to cancel expecting the discount as usual. They wouldn't give me unlimited broadband and phone for less than £35 which is what I am currently paying so I put my notice in.
I found if you go to their website from a virgin connection you can't see this new customer deal!
I'll expect a phone call back from them after reading this.

It is now £75 Cashback for 50mb, £100 for 100mb. Alternatively £49 per month and £20 activation for Full House, £220 TopCashback.

It doesn't show you new offers as it sees you as an existing customer. Inbound rarely give the best deals. You normally have to cancel them await the call. I have always got a deal until this time - when their outbound offer was poor and my cancellation has gone through

They called me back after 2 days and I took the 50mb and phone line for £20 / month

Mate I wouldn’t entertain talking to taishifox. They’ve private messaged me wanting my account info and/or to talk to Virgin on their behalf so they barter for a better deal.
