Asda sim only 20 Gb unlimited texts and calls £10 a month

had this thread going in Misc a while back about them finally getting it ..

I asked for my PAC code yesterday actually from Virgin as Three are doing an offer of 4gb of 4G data, Unlimited Minutes and Texts for £9 a month.

I've been with Virgin Mobile for over 5 years and also have two additional lines with them and there was zero attempt at keeping me as a customer and no mention of 4G launching either.

I've already joined Three now but I might ring Virgin back on Monday when it launches just to see if they can offer me anything, but I doubt it.

virgin mobile are pants I had two line 10pm this had to rise due in inflation

How is this a deal? Don't be duped by sales advisors they all chat rubbish. Research best procesonline or better still on this website.

Only for one month, then 1.5gb/ month.

Mobilephonesdirect have/had a Three SIM with 30GB 4G, unlimited texts and 200mins for £13pm after cashback. With umlimited minutes I'm sure it was £17pm.

So after all the promises in the last year that 4g was coming does this mean existing customers will now have to pay for 4g ? They hiked the prices earlier this year for existing customers and some have stayed and remained loyal with them because of this promise of free 4g.

Been with Virgin for years, since NTL days. Never had an issue with TV or mobile. Have great £8pm unlimited everything, Inc tethering for kids.
This seems a decent deal & as it's Virgin, hot from me

let me add a heat after 7/11/17

Is their roaming sorted?
The virgin mobile forum mentions roaming problems and had done for a long time.
No call divert either if that's something you use..

Anyone with that deal would be happy, but not everyone can get that deal.

They'll only give that kind of deal to long term customers who also have the full range of media services. for anyone else, it'll be impossible.

From my 2 years with them, I would say The Comedy Channel

to be honest i cant see any difference after leaving virgin and going to three with 4g.

My emails, websites, and streaming video still happens at the same speed imo

Oh and I wouldn't believe what the so called "manager" claims, I get told different stories every time I speak to these companies.

finally they got 4g plans ..costly.

Oh yea the good thing is ..data rollover a d freewhatsapp messaging pictures and videos ( not voice or video calls )

No more 3g tariff and 08 not included in 4g.. i had a word with cs and they cannot give 3g old tariff anymore.

That was an anti climax, no upgrading to 4g for free as promised, better off with Three's current plan of Unlim Mins and Txts and 4gb Data for £9 a month.#Shiftyb*****s!

My Daughter who's still with Virgin Mobile 3g received a letter today saying that her promotional rate of £15 will increase to £21 pounds next month. Its the third increase this year, they are jokers. She's moving to Three Unlimited Mins and Txts + 4gig of 4g Data for £9.

Was on offer at London Colney Sainsbury Phoneshop, guess might be at other large Sainsbury Phoneshops.

Tethering now allowed - I was going to go with the 20gb plan but not sure what an I going to do with all those roll over data on the 20gb plan every month. Decided not to go with them now.
