Best broadband offer on right now from what I can see.
Just had it installed into the street had a haggle with them and got
500mb broadband
2x Virgin boxes installed
All Sports/Movies/etc
Anytime calls/Line rental
Unlimited Sim included
£84 a month
Edited by: "DuWolfy" 6th Jun
And I just got broadband only for 28, great timing
Virgin media is still hackable for a small fee if you look about on certain sites. Like sky carding used to be
This bundle is cheaper than broadband by itself... unfortunately as an existing customer i would have to pay £125 for the tv box (which i dont even want) or pay a higher price for just internet.. SMH

I wonder if there anyway round it like cancelling my service and signing up in the wifes name? Anyone know?

I have Humax Free Sat at th moment that has all the same channels as this bundle but my Broadband is around 70mbs. Seems to work fine but the temptation of an extra 30mb download speed is nice. However, how easy is it to get out of the contract after 12 months?

Erm like all provider.. when u close to 30 days of contract end date .. give ur notice and sign up to another provider... Then it won't be long before they're ring you with better offer

Some are not so easy. I suppose they count on you forgetting and then being tied into another year at double the cost.

I'm tempted but the only difference is 30mb extra speed and a pound less per month. I wouldn't use the weekend phone calls. I had cable before so I'm all set up. Maybe I'll call and haggle a better deal!

If you are on a BT « fibre » you probably have around 20Mbps of upload speed, this deal is around 6Mbps, that will also factor in the speed of loading pages, so bear that in mind

I'm on vodafone broadband. Upload is around 18mb. Think I'll stay where I am.

Might be wrong here, but I'm sure once the minimum contract terms are up ... U end up on monthly rolling contract, but will pay full price.

But I not sure what kind stunt virgin can pull during you rcontract... E.g. price raising after 6 months

I'm already on Virgin now I get the 350 broadband bundle but its too expensive and I want to downgrade. Can anyone tell me how I cancel my renewal and get a new customer discount deal. Will they allow me to cancel that then join again as a new customer

No. When you’re viewing a webpage you are downloading, not uploading.

If you have reached end of your contract than you are in a good position to haggle.
If still in contract , nothing much you can do.

It ends on the first of June mate. Just spoke to someone on the live chat thing and they basically said I can haggle. I'm wondering if I can use this deal as leverage

Ofcourse you can buy say your mate got same deal without the activation fee.
If they don't budge, say you want to leave.
Just go through process of leaving.
Within a few days usually the retention team will call begging for you to come back like a lovestruck ex.
Just finishing our contact gone up to £92 cheapest they offered was£80 something so cancelled.
What deals have people got for 200mbs internet, phone, and 2 boxes of( not too worried about the TV package long as it's got the basic and bt sport)
