If only I could get out of my BT contract

If only I could get out of my BT contract

Don't wish that fella. Came out of my BT contract a year ago and only the speed has made it worth it. The TV interface is third rate compared to sky, complicated and sluggish. I'm almost done with virgin just biding my time to jump ship. The speed unless absolutely necessary, is not worth the hassle with TV.

Similar story with the speed being great and whilst the TV picture is good as well ( I still had sky hd only not sky q) I find the interface terrible.

I still have sky basic and find I look up the guide then switch to virgin to watch the channel as that’s where subscription for sport, films and bt sport is.

It really is that clunky.

Just add a tabbed heading please Virgin.

Also in September they are putting ANOTHER £3.50 on a month across ALL bundles- Had the email last week
You keep paying these exuberant prices, they will keep putting them up

That shouldn't happen to people who've just signed up it's for existing customers. I've cancelled last week due to them not even offering me a better deal.

Was told to phone back end of next month for better deal. CS didn't seem to happy when I said I'll phone b4 the free cancellation cut off date.If you've not been offered better deal I wonder we'd hat agent was up to.... Yes this js the joy of Virgin CS agents.
Wonder why this is getting cold votes. A deal is a deal.

That being said I'm a virgin customer and agree with everything said above.

The TiVo box is rubbish. And only good thing is the internet speeds.

Phone line is through the internet.

And be prepared to deal with call centres in India.

Once my contract ends I'll be looking elsewhere
We use Freeview along with a smart tv and a 500gb hard drive to record tv with, cannot remember the last time we did that as we used catchup. As for a home phone line, we haven't used ours for 3 years. The only good thing is virgins broadband but you have to have other services to get a better price which is just stupid
Virgin never works as advertised. When VM works, the speeds are great but I'd say this is 65% if the time. Also with off shore call centres that give you the run around when trying to leave is very frustrating. After raising a complaint yesterday, VM gave me 3 months credit back for poor service as well as my final month. Took over 2 hours on the phone - but I am glad my contract ends on the 20/08/2019. I will be looking to take BT as some certain offers maybe coming in August ;P

The bloke seemed sound on the phone but just said I was on the best package, I told him I couldn't careless about the tele or phone, he said if I dropped the phone and tele it would be £5 cheaper but I though is it worth it!
So just going to hunt for an internet only deal, I'll even go with Sky if push comes to shove, just a bit gutted as Virgin touch woods always been reliable for me

The only unreliable part of Virgin I've encountered in last 20years is the problem with CS over last few years. Everything I phone to do seems to be a issue for them, and not being awful but at times I can hardly understand what's being said.

I've never had any foreigner people for a while I usually ring through the day now to solve that problem. You're not being horrible it's so annoying when people don't speak English.
I did an Unboxing of the Super Hub 3 about 3 years ago and think it's had about 75k views I should mention that to Virgin they should give me free net for the advertisement lol

Who are you moving too? I’ve had the call from retentions but the offers are ridiculous and I’m not willing to pay their stupid prices
