Virgin Media "Free" calls to 0845/0870 for £1.50 / month

Found 3rd May 2010
From 10th May Virgin Media will be offering free calls to all 0845/0870 numbers for a fee of £1.50 a month.

Was told this is a retentions only deal that cannot be added by any other department but cannot be used if you already have a retention/loyalty offer

The details are still partly sketchy and not sure of the availability or how long this will last but surely its a step in the right direction!

Yes, for £1.50 you can make up 1000 minutes of calls. Good deal if you ask me, espec if you call abroad using a calling card. def not cold

Branson is a shareholder and has no input in the day to day running of the company

Cold, because Virgin Mobile actually have a 0845 number that fleeces you when you cannot use your mobile phone to call them, last time I dialled 150 to get through to Virgin Media (free) and asked to be transferred to Virgin Mobile because there was no way I was being stung anymore with the fees.

Its a private limited company (not a public limited where any one can buy shares).
Do you really believe Branson have no Input. :w00t:

i called and got this as well as free caller id?

OP has a point.... if you call your friends abroad from an 0845/0800 call card this makes sense.....
