Bit long winded but here goes.

Signed up to virgin media full house bundle via Topcashback for £55 per month and £20 activation. Now, you get a 14 day cooling off period, I opted for the self setup so the cooling off period starts the day of activation of the equipment. On day 13, I rang virgin to cancel. When they asked why, I told them sky was offering a simalar package for £30 per month. They instantly offered me £5 per month discount which I rejected and proceeded with the cancellation. They accepted and said my servicies would end in 7 days. Today, just 1 day after giving notice, O received a call from retentions. Without too much fuss, my package is now discounted to £44 per month and a £48 account credit which equates to a further £4 off per month. So, I now have the full house bundle, with 100mbps fibre, over 240 channels with VM boxsets and weekend calls for just £40 per month. We chuffed with that. I'm sure of I had haggled more or even waited a few more days, I may have been offered more but I was happy with that.

TopCashBack is tracked at £110 but not expecting it to be paid as I have haggled the price but let's see. Ideal if looking to get out of BT price hike

Good luck

Looks good, I will give it a go. Thank you.

100mb so long as your not in a utilised area. Then your on demand won’t work either. Plus your bill will go up every few months. Good luck

Terrible service

Fancy giving Sky TV a go?
Let me know

New TiVo v6 box is so fast compared with the old box

Prb be £50 pm near the end of the contract going by the comments of hukders, due to persistent price increases..

I've voted cold because the retentions department is shocking and I can guarantee you've been lucky by getting this (hot for you!)

Is it a deal when you sign up then cancel? hoping to get a discount, seems a little dishonest, I'm sure a few with questionable morals will give it a go.

I've had Virgin broadband at my new home last 3 months. I think is really good. Had shocking experiences with BT and Sky fibre

If your bill goes up now. All telco's have to give you 30 days notice for you to leave. So your incorrect there (Poor Advice)

I know a bit a bout utilisation. Its better than sharing a BT line with whichever provider you go with TT, Voda, EE, Sky etc. When all your neighbours on that street have dodgy stream boxes and fire sticks.

The one thing Virgin aren't allowed or won't talk about is IPTV. Chipped boxes etc. All the people with dodgy equipment are causing a massive strain in a lot of areas.
