Full house doesn't seem to have the watch, only the full house sports which is £65
Existing customers or just new only?

It literally says there all the full house deals include the watch. Did you read the words in the photo?
Is this not a 24 month contract going up big second 12 months ?

Nope, just looked at the website and the full house didn't have the watch advertised.
Seems they removed Full House.... Just checked now

New customers taking the Full House Movies, Full House Sports, Full House Sports & Movies or the V.VIP bundle online

No, it's 12mths, you can cancel then or negotiate with them
Negotiate at the end of 12 month contract?
Help please.

Just rang virgin to enquire about some prices then said i would do it through topcashback.

The guy on the phone said oh you wont get cashback as your enquiry is registered so now your not a new customer.

I said that isnt right i havnt purchased just wanted a price he said sorry thats how it works.

Is what he said true?

Sounds like a pos trying to get you to go through him by stating any old nonsense.

very ambiguous because take the Full House Sports Bundle, it says

65 a month for 12 months
then £103 a month(12 month contract)

so does that mean you are locked in for a further 12 months @ £103 p/m?

I don't think so, but pretty unclear.

I just rang virgin they said it's not for full house. I know it is because I took a snap shot of it yesterday morning. I dont know who to speak to as they just dismissed it straight away and cant speak to the complaints department as I'm not a customer. Can anyone help please.37645842-BxEpt.jpg

Was thinking the same thing.
Is there any workaround for existing customers? Just rang to see if I could get a retention offer for my soon expiring package but all the prices I got were just the standard online offers

You can swap to another household member, have done it before between myself and my wife, registered cancellation, took me contract and then contacted to tell them I wanted to take over the old phone number, set the new contract to begin when old one ended.

Its 12months the £103 is what you will pay once the contract finishes and you dont cancel
TCB is showing as £120. Has it been reduced?
Just spoke to them and the lady said the other advisor misinformed me so i am still a new customer.

Worked out the full house bundle after cashback is £2 less then the deal i could get over the phone.

However the sky sports deal there is a £13 difference but then again cashback isnt guaranteed.

Might have been or hotuk have got it wrong. I put the deal on just stating there is a offer where you can get cashback and a watch for certain deals. The team messaged me for a link and then updated the deal.

The £225 is for the full house sports £120 is for full house on its own
Sure you want to go with them they had mobile voice, data and home broadband service outage today

My wife had mobile outage for a bit, but our 200mb broadband just fine. I think there were some erroneous errors that it was everything - not saying that no one did have all go down, but mobile was the issue nationally.

Just phone and give your 30 day notice, saying you're fed up with price increases and all the best deals for new customers (research done deals so you quote then, like "Sky can offer this... BT that...". They may offer you something, but don't accept. It may seem worrying, but hold out and they should call you and its this outgoing call centre that has the real deals.

If you're really concerned about losing service, you could always look for a good deal elsewhere, then sign up if they haven't called you within a week. Apply to port your number then this will definitely trigger their call to you and you should easily be within the cooling off period to cancel your new service. I had to do this one year and even had BT engineer booked in to visit, but usually the first bit works. This year, they called me back, on a Saturday, the day after I called and gave my notice.

Thanks - some really good advice here. I tried to give them a call to cancel and got told they're having system issues and to call back tomorrow so will try then.

Typical obnoxious VM staff. I'm a VM Customer from the old Cabletel days. I switched every year for most things. Usually getting a better deal than renewals etc. But I detest having to call VM and try and get yet another half decent deal and keep the discounts I've had for the previous 12 months. The last 2 years I've had to cancel and wait for the why are you leaving call. Out of contract as of today. But line rental saver is no more, so now have my discounts for another 6 months. Will no doubt need to cancel in October and go through the usual rigmarole.

Wish there was a decent alternative so I could finally give them the finger.

Only way u get anywhere with this lot is by cancelling 30 days notice.
Spoke to someone on webchat and they offered me£175 bill credit instead of the watch. I went through Quidco but would it still track if I took the deal through webchat?
Yes they are offering the credit over the phone aswell...got full house sports worked out cheaper than with cashback

Could be worse, i do the same thing. However this year i accidentally blocked VM on my phone and never got the call, ended up taking out a regular deal. A week later i checked my call log for some reason and saw VM had called everyday sometimes several times a day and i didn't know, all the while thinking any day now they're call me, then wondering if they were calling my bluff.
So I called up and had pretty much a non event! Existing customer - wanted the new package, all going through (then systems failed AGAIN!). Will get a call back tomorrow - but no problem with me as an existing customer getting the new deal. Not sure if I get the watch (but tbh not honestly fussed about that). This deal saves me nearly £60 a month on it's own.

What package are you / were u on to be saving £60 a month?
I'm currently on 200mb DL / 12mb UL. 2 x V6 boxes. TV is only Freeview channels and a few of the ones nobody cares about. Phone with free weekend calls. Paying £40 per month. Out of contract since Tuesday. Discounts from last update run out in November. Looking at the new packages I'll stick with what we have for now.
FMCHAOS15/05/2019 20:06

Sky TV Package
Unlimited Virgin Sim
Broadband + phone + basic TV Package - Virgin (old deal just expired)
Found if you go through sales then next day speak to pre install team they offer an even better deal.

Initially i was offered the full package include additional add on's for £70 a month after the £150 credit. Spoke to pre install said sky/bt offering a better deal so they dropped the price to £58.

Happened last time i was with virgin 2 years ago. Dont bother going back to sales team they not bothered after your signed up but the pre install team do sort it out.
