Was about to get the Broadband Only offer for £18/month advertised on MSE, when I was offered this through live chat:

- Player TV (TiVo box)
- SuperFibre 50mb Broadband
- Talk Weekends (inclusive unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin Mobile numbers, plus weekend calls to 0870 numbers)
- Line rental included

This costs £20/month (instead of usual £29) + £14.99 activation fee
TCB is offering £46
And you can be referred by an existing customer (like me!) for an extra £50 bill credit

That's potentially £158.99, ie £13.25/month. Pretty decent IMO!

Valid for 12 months, so will need re-negotiate during the last month.

Do you have to pay line rental on top of that?

Nope, it includes line rental

Player bundle is less than free view before anyone gets too excited. Better off with just fibre. Good deal still to be fair. Voted hot

I'm surprised this is cold - two pounds extra (£24 over year), but £26 more cashback gets you unlimited weekend calls and handy TV recording.

virgin are a bunch of crooks they wont give these deals to existing customers

I completely agree with MR T, Virgin Media are a bunch of Slime Balls and Robbin Barstewards when it comes to "Home Media Packages" as my VM internet connection 50 Fiber only at a push has a speed of between 0.5mb and on a very good day it might max up to 3mb, so their service is very poor. And the reason for the poor service is because they have rented out their internet networks to the mobile phone providers to run their 3G and 4G mobile phone mast connections to their respective servers and your so called High Speed Broadband buffers up to speeds of less than 1-2mb and your iPlayer services freeze along with everything else that makes your internet connections work. Now that`s one side of the VM Rip Off, now the TV and Telephone service. Well the telephone services are as billed, but there are alternatives for the TV and Internet services available. The best internet service with no line rental (A £13-£18/month saving) is to use a World Sim Card (3G or 4G service) in a mobile hotspot adapter which you can use worldwide and it can also be used in a mobile smart phone or iPad or 3/4G tablet or in the adapter even on holiday then all you need is to sort out your TV Service, now that`s where a fully loaded Kodi or Amazon Fire Stick adapter will give you the Sky`s the limit TV services (SKY, BT, VM) with no monthly TV Service charges. Just remember as VM`s subscription numbers Decrease your monthly payments will be increased. So what are you waiting for, Dump the Internet Duds and get your own HotSpot with speeds greater than 50mb`s and not a VM cable in sight and a healthier bank balance every month. Have they shot themselves in the foot, the Robbin Barstewards.

I did try to stack up all the money saving ideas OP you have posted. You cannot use all of them I think . If you want £20 deal you cannot add refer a friend deal to it or use topcashback as their intelligent systems will not track the purchase if you're not paying their web advertised price of player bundle- £29.
To be on safe side one can use promo code 50Extra to receive 50 pound credit with £20 deal( chat with advisors and ask for £20 player bundle link).
I've signed up today, so if anyone has got any other way to discount this deal further kindly comment here.

I agree. I gave notice two days ago as contract is reaching end. Their loyalty offer was something I didn't want and the amount was exceptionally high. So I took this deal on one of my family member's name and used £50 credit promo code and joined as a new customer and selected installation date of next month when my account terminates.

it says in the bundle that "Includes free retail voucher worth £100 – ends 3rd January". Is it included automatically or you have to enter a code?

Anyone have any luck getting the voucher, 50 off and the 20 pound rate? I'm trying to get CS to credit my account, otherwise I need to cancel and re-order to benefit from the new offer...

Just signed up to this deal. Thanks! Can't understand why it's not rated hot? Didn't actually need the TV box but it worked out way cheaper than the Broadband and phone package at £32 a month. Used the extra £50 code and have gone through Quidco so will let you know if the £40 cashback tracks, too.

Should be hot, great deal.

Now showing as £45 a month plus the activation fee of £14.99

good deal if you can get it. voted hot
