This is a USWITCH offer and easily bettered - - £7 PM (£84 per year) CHEAPER!!

If you go via TCB instead of via USWITCH (clear your cookies first) it's £32pm plus £25 installation=384
minus £50 account credit=334.
Minus TCB 120=214 (TCB allegedly expires 17/3/19)
214 divided by 12 = £17.83pm

Rubbish customer service you will stay on the line for hours to be answered and sometimes they will just cut off without answering after being on hold for ages.

S##t company raised my mobile bill 33% months into a 12 month contract and tried to tell me I had to pay £90 to leave early! Rude, ignorant custumer service people.

Lot of hate for vm here! I've definitely had vm screw up bills / overcharge, but have always had it fixed with pretty quick phone calls. Plus I get over 360mbit for a touch over £30 a month, I'm absolutely OK with that. What company out there gives you higher speed than advertised?! I don't want the up to 76 mbit speeds which in reality are 50...

Bit harsh, every customer has their own experience - care to share yours?

i had one, i contacted customer services - very frustrated and used their online support forums, eventually got it sorted.

its not like i could get 350mb broadband anywhere else with a 20mb upload - ended up getting credited a shed load as i persisited and the problem i had with things wasnt my own.

They are all crap companies in one way or another. Just pick a bad one out of all the bad ones. If you don't you'll never have broadband, calls or TV.

Thanks very much OP, you've just saved me £100+. I'd literally signed up for the same thing through Virgin yesterday without knowing about this offer, so phoned them up and got the offer applied. Have previously had good service with Plusnet, but it's taken them and openreach 3 weeks so far and still no line set up, so cancelled them and went for Virgin instead as there's cable there already. Much appreciated

Sure they pick upthe phone lightning fast for new customers, but Virgin really suck once you are with them.

I dont work for them - i know reading back my posts it actually sounds like i do - but i just hate when people slate a company based on their own individual experience because their may have been a genuine issue - not on the experience of the masses.. You notice how people only pipe up when they wanna rant about problems with the companies and not praise them with the good service - im happy with what they offered me after a frustrating few days of issues - Id recommend virgin media over all of them - based on the connection speed and the tech that goes behind it.

I just think that people give them an unnecessary bad rep because some people are genuinely idiots.

Find me another provider that will actually get you 100Mb Speed - not claim to get you near and real life get nowhere near!!!

Email the CEO directly, you'll get passed on to the executive complaints team who actually provide a passable level of customer service.

This was in addition to annual rises. Obviously the rate of inflation isn't 33%. They said the tariff I was on was promotional. Yeah, I signed up to it during a promotion but that doesn't mean the price we agreed on should only last a few months unless it was a monthly contract but it was 12 months.
Not sure what you mean about broadband; I'm talking about the company not the product here - clearly the danger is you sign up and transfer on then they hike their prices with no warning and you're left dealing with customer support muppets and having to spend more time finding an alternative provider.

Most ridiculous use of the word vile anyone has ever used. most of these companies have very poor service and sadly you can’t trust trust pilot as it’s totaly one sided.

You just have have to look at every hotdealers favourite John Lewis to see its mainly used by people with issues.

Personally had mixed service from these media great mobile shocking.

They normally come back to you in a few days though some do say they don’t get calls. You need to make sure your marketing preferences allow them to call you most people had theirs moved to not allow to contact with gdpr. You can update online in my account.

I kind of see your point - I used to work for a few mobile networks (in store) and usually what your contract says and what you agree to is solid until they change their prices - so in virgins case - when they have a price rise or if your contracted price is up you should have the ability of some sort of get out or ring up and a little bit of haggling - Obv they aren’t gonna give you everything for nothing - as I’ve experienced myself - but ultimately and if you get through to the right individual who can grasp real life - you
Would get a satisfactory outcome - personally I know that for what I wanted (tech wise) I know no one else can do it - so I guess I’m in a different position to you - I’m on three sim only for my mobile contract on an all you can eat everything tariff at £20/month but my broadband is vivid 350mb at haggled 45 a month with tv package and a phone line with virgin - even though I only use the broadband from it (edited)

I’m sure everyone has their different experiences of customer services. I left Sky because they were absolutely shocking (and after I left I had a letter threatening legal action over £a trifling amount that Sky acknowledged they’d not even sent me a bill for).

All I’m saying is that they’re universally bad in my experience.

I handed my notice in and then they called back twice after that but each time offering higher price than what i was currently paying. Obviously i declined and no calls since. Looks like them offering a good deal is a bit hit and miss. They seem happy to let customers go these days as they can make up for it by new customer promo deals

No customer should have to call their provider and give notice to leave just to get a better deal!!

VM pricing policy is outdated, bordering on corrupt and I hope that everyone pays them as little as they possible can and only for the services they use.

Said before, VM are a piss poor outfit even in this market of scallywags - wish there was a viable alternative!
