If you are a existing customer you can get this as a 1 month rolling contract.

I did this. Regretting it now in the fact that no signal in my living room! Everywhere else is ok tho!

500mb not enough for, even 1 day of internet usage.

Please, please, please be very careful with Virgin mobile- they do not have a capping feature. Not too good a choice where teenage girls are concerned- albeit fully the adults fault!!!

In the long run, having a little bit more to pay monthly will save £££ in the long run. A lesson I wouldn't want anyone else to painfully learn- especially around Xmas...

They do have a capping feature. My wife and daughters are set at £30. All arranged by phone. Think we dialed 789.

internet can be caped on devices these days, 1000 is a lot of minutes for the price, can't comment on virgin, they use EE don't they? Was thinking of this to go with S4 mini as present for my daughter, just want to see what people on here think.

This price is for existing customers only unless you commit to 12 month contract according to their SIM only page:
store.virginmedia.com/vir…tml

It is good value however, not everyone uses 10GB a day in data!

This is their standard price is it not?
I get pestered with this all the time.
A lot of people have problems with their bill from Virgin Mobile so be careful!

I have 3 mobiles with VM.. fantastic!

2x 1200mins/1gb/unl txt @ £8 each and 1x UNL mins&sms/250mb net @ £5! Would never consider any other network!

Anything tracking through TCB for this? I haven't added BACS details on that account yet so it won't let me click through.
How's their customer service?

Tesco and i think 3 are the only network that Cap
To be honest if you have a teenager that use the phone a lot then you should put them on PayG that way you don't get no surprises
otherwise you will be getting parents on forums asking why they have to pay big bill when there teenager as run it up and shouldn't have a contract phone in the beginning
By the way that is not all teenagers some are very good with there phone and stick to their limits,

Dead right only one person to blame for massive bills thats the one with name on contract.Letting kids use a contract phone is asking for trouble.

You're lucky , they're charging me £8 a month (rolling monthly contract ) for the same !

how about talktalk mobile? £11.25 for 30 day rolling contract, 2000 mins 2000 texts 4GB data (only for talk talk broadband customers) or same for £10 per months if you sign up to 12 months contract. ALSO £60 quidco (mine tracked same day)

Quidco doesn't say that you can't do it on the rolling sim contract, but could you potentially only use it for a few months then make a "profit" due to the cashback?

These Virgin deals are mentioned every now and then. I have Virgin Media stuff, and got a £5 deal two years ago after being mentioned on HUKD. 1200 mins, u/l texts and 1gb data (I thinkl) Rolling one month contract. Have to find the right bods, but this is allegedly a standard offer. We have three phones on this!

...in our defense our daughter was completely new to her phone and the lessons that go with managing a mobile phone in this day and age. Yes, phone management is a skill in itself which a child has to learn like any other.

Thanks I will try that.

Just encase anyone is wondering as it doesn't seem to be clear anywhere, if your phone is on EE it can work fine on Virgin.

As for people complaining about signal being worse then EE, it's the same signal you degenerates.

This is the contract I'm moving to for my new iPhone 5s. I'll call them to cap the Internet and mins (if it's possible) and this will be a pretty solid deal.

Also beware of customer service when dealing with Virgin Mobile, worst customer service I have ever received, most of them don't have a clue what they are talking about and/or barely talk English. My girlfriend ordered a new SIM for example and clearly stated she needed a Nano SIM. So the literally sent the complete opposite - the regular sim. So she was without a phone for a month and she had to pay for the month even thought it wasn't her fault in the slightest.
