I just checked the Virgin Mobile web site, as I have a VM SIM. They still use EE as their carrier.

What a load of cod’s wallop VIRGIN piggybacks on EE
Virgin have indeed started changing to their own network. My sim went haywire during my change over so can confirm they are moving to their own network. Spent 5 days on the phone to them about it

It's nonsense even though I've spoken to them on the phone? Had my sim changed and needed a new configuration text from them to enable mobile data from their network? I'll take Virgins word over it rather than yours I think.

Why did you post a link that doesn't prove your point !!!!!

"Yep - absolute Bull.
Virgin have not got a licence to run a service and are unlikely to get one in the near future.
It takes years to build a network "

"VM will still be a Virtual operator they could not possibly afford the money to set up their own network even if the bands very available, which they are not. I presume they mean by “own core network” is they going to replace BT, who now own EE, for connections between some end points. "
