Find a deal you like. Ask them to match it. You can say your friend has this deal and youd like it. They may offer it to you for £15 but still good

Shame tethering isn't allowed on Virgin sim contracts :-(

Have this for £4 on a rolling contract.

I have it too. But its not available anymore! Also that deal was five times data. So you only roll over 1GB. Ths deal it appears that it is not times any data so you roll over any unused data. So use only 1.5GB and you'll have 8.5GB the next month. Use 3GB the next month and you'll have the full 10GB the next month! Just saying what it looks like. Even the £8 deal with 4GB is a 4 times data here

Mine rolls over all unused data.

Prove it please
My son got this deal yesterday. The other deals of 20GB for £10 are not on Virgin web page so I would guess old deals.
i pay £20.62 for unlimited everything from virgin

Roll over doesn't keep on going up it lasts a month then resets.

That's good to know, thanks.
Hey, I had 7gb for £4 a month with EE, now need a new deal. That's not available anymore, so how does it help to say you can get better out of them? Are you suggesting waiting until black Friday and just look at your thumbs for the next 6 months?

if you try for it i can upload proof of a screen shot of my usage they have tried to get me to change as i abuse it talk time last bill cycle was was 13800+ mins, they hate me
I'd be all over this if it were a 30 day contract.

Been hearing a lot how bad Virgin are (mate at work had massive issues with them) and unsure of moving over to them, or rather being locked in with them for a full 12 months.

Though it's better than what Plusnet are offering for a similar price but without the 30 day contract which is worth it's weight in being able to chop and change tariffs when needed.
My husband is on the 3G contract with them, which includes 1000 minutes to call 08 numbers. I am mulling over giving this up in exchange for more data as we can use the data when we are on holiday.

Wonder if I could get this as an existing customer?

I'd assume everyone knew that! But as you think i didn't i'll just say it again so you know! The data only rolls over for a month. You'll only roll over whats in the package. Not any extra data so if its 4 times data say 4GB you'll only roll over 1GB. This deal is 5GB and is not any x's data therfore it should roll over whats left. I.e if you use 1GB you'll have 4 left. Just for the benefit of doubt and in case you thought i thought it rolled over indefinitely. It does not
Did upgrade from 3G to 4G during last black friday deal but no 4g signal received till now.
I just phoned V/Mobile and got Ultd txt,5000 mins and 20GB data for £10 a month on a 30 rolling contract with a new sim and number.

V/Mobile refused to upgrade my previous contract ( Ultd Txt, 2500 mins and 2Gb Data for £5 a month on a 12 month contract) with the above deal.I still got the above deal (5000 mins,Ultd Txt and 20GB) by just asking for a new sim and number.

It is allowed at the moment but have to be careful virgin are moving all customers to purple sims which they say will allow them more control of the back office processes no one knows for sure if they will make changes but there is the possibility that they could then block hotspots, just worth baring in mind if signing up to 12 month deal thinking you will always be able to tether.

thanks for this information. saves me calling them as my husband doesn't want to lose his number and he doesn't want to port out number and back again.

Got this last night - tried to get it as existing customer no longer tied in but they would not offer it so went via uswitch and then used chat function to explain I was existing virgin cust and they had no problems!! Waiting to see if SIM turns up now. Was paying £14 for 4 gig and had been on that forever😖

just get a new email
How would that get around me asking them to port over an existing Virgin number to the new Virgin Sim?? Point is, if you look hard enough you can probably get the deal you want, you just have to persevere.
