I was on EE now Virgin not seen any difference...

Aren't three doing a better deal? I got 8gb data plus unltd mins and text for £10 about 2months ago... Utilised a bit of haggling skills :P

+£21 with topcashback

Can anyone comment on what 4G is like in London?

Good deal - but remember it is a 12 month contract......

Liverpool Street, bank area get a full 4G signal

Got a call from them last night as I have there tv and fibre and was offered Unlim mins, Unlim text and 40gb 4g data. All this can be used in Europe. I know they piggy back on the EE network but was once informed EE customers take priority of the EE network first (not sure how true this is).
The lady wasnt sure what the 4g speeds were either.
All this for £10 per month and not tied in to a contarct (smells fishy that bit) which to be honest im tempted to leave EE for Virgin at this price

There's a whole thread on that deal somewhere. If you can get it that's great. People are still trying!

Great, but it doesn't beat the black friday deal.

This deal was available to many last month. I have it myself...

Nope.. It was actually available.. Guess they are still flogging it undercover...

There’s been better Virgin deals recently, at 12 months contract I’d wait til another came around and take a rolling 30 day one instead. I’m on 20gb for 15 and it’s a rolling contract so my deal is better and I’m sure you can get better too.

Its not bad though.

Yeah, this deal has been on since before Black Friday. I tried getting a few times on the phone but they said it was only for current customers and only when THEY rung you and offered it. Some people have apparently managed to blag it too even though they weren’t Virgin customers.

I got a virgin deal then called to cancel for a BT deal

go through to retentions and they gave me £10 for 2500mins + 20GB 4G data

my bill is £11.80

A family member tried the same but was only offered the package for £12-14

worth a go

It's not as fast as EE I get 40mb, they don't use all the frequencies EE use and you can't do Wi-Fi calling.

Possibly not an issue for most

I signed a better deal with them 2 weeks ago. 2500mins, 8gb data, ult txt 12m contract £10/m.

I did move from a 30 day contract to this so maybe that made the difference

But always worth calling them directly...

This is the Black Friday deal

I recently jumped on the similar deal from plusnet (but no data rollover which i believe VM offer on their packages):
Unlimited mins
Unlimited txts
6gb data
30 day contract
£10p/m

Cut down to about 40mbps down and 20mbps up

in case anyone uses Spotify premium which is £10 a month, Vodafone has a 12 month plan for £19 a month, with 16 GB, so take away the spotify cost and its £9 a month, its a 12 month contract

but this is for fellow Spotify users

Virgin atleast reflect that in their prices

Virgin have won my business because of value for money

And being truthful

Three is cheaper than this I think using cash back and other deals.

There’s £21 top cashback available on this and £50.40 in the £15 / 20gb tariff, bringing that down under £11 a month?
