Correct. I believe Virgin rolls over your data too but don't hold me to that!

Also free data for WhatsApp too.
Yeah they rollover data as well. I can't find this deal though?
£12 online,so not really a deal

PLUSNET ULTD MINS/TEXT AND 4GB £9
VM customers only
Seeing them double my 20gb and then roll over the unused makes up for sketchy places where I can get a signal
I’m happy with them never had a problem
I think rollover is only if purchased via Uswitch.

Only move to them if you dont like services like Call waiting, Visual voicemail etc. Recently they changed the core network and call waiting is not working for any of their users. CS advise that it’s not part of their contract and will not work on my sim. I would suggest to avoid them!

Call Waiting - To activate: *43# To deactivate: #43#

Visual Voicemail like Wifi Calling is blocked by EE on Virgin and other EE resellers, something people need to start making complaints against the big 4 for as its anti competitive for MVNOs customers. All MVNOs should have access, they don’t. When Ofcom get enough complaints about anti competitive behaviour they will take action.

Carphone ID mobile have managed to secure Wifi Calling but it’s on a case by case agreement with the big 4, it’s unacceptable behaviour they are allowed to block network functions, Ofcom won’t even have a clue they do until consumers make them aware, most staff there will be on main networks to get their public service discount so don’t experience the lock outs regular consumers do.
Looks like it's £9 pm on the website
So the important bit is

Got ee to better this deal last week - was £9 on virgins website last week. Give them a ring if your with ee.
I’ve had a bad experience with them, wouldn’t go back to them no matter how cheap their offers are

We all have bad experience of companies especially communication companies who are absolutely dire at COMMUNICATING either way or good understanding of what you are communicating. Virgin Care is EE third party staff, they are polite but generally script and trained. You have to ask them to send it up to (non customer facing) level 2 support for a U.K person to review and action anything properly that’s not basic. Remember third party Orange & BT India and T-Mobile Philippines ? That’s Virgin care, the pittance BT don’t want on EE 150 they pulled.

Frankly I’m quite self reliant thankfully as I have the £20 Unlimiteds 4G Data

o2 - Capita
Voda - all third party conpanies
Three - like o2 were direct staff and Three sold them off to a third party

that’s why EE only want U.K./Ire staff on the phones and EE resellers get the cheap offshore basic subcontractors if they want as part of being a MVNO partner.

Yup you can port anytime to any other provider, even with a massive outstanding bill or massive final bill.

Have roaming ON - all EE bases stations are still not on one network access code. Some transmit on old T-Mobile, others the old Orange code.

PLUSNET ULTD MINS/TEXT AND 4GB £9

My wife got that deal for £6 a month yesterday after talking to the Plusnet retentions team.
Got the same deal for £4 from virgin + 1gb extra as an ongoing rollover bonus.
I called the retention team to get this deal.

Have you tried *43~ to active call waiting after they changed the Sim/Core network? sounds like you haven`t Call waiting doesn't work for pretty much most of their customer and Virgin says to customers "this is something should have not worked but worked on our EE core but on our core network it will not work" Anyway best of luck for people who want to save few quids and have inferior service to what others are getting.

V care ain’t a clue. Old EE third party contractors pulled to backhaul on EE and frontline V.

Gsm codes should work m-virgin.tmtx.co.uk/en/…tml

CW works on mine but I have a old white red logo on my V sim maybe the newer V purple sims don’t allow it ?

You should get this on a iPhone:

Raise a complaint with Ofcom - it was part of your service and has now been removed since a sim replacement with no notice it was removing the service. I’d advise all customers in your position to do the same so Pass the info around

PS) screenshot what V say when you try the CW short code.

So this is a 1GB deal boosted to 4GB. Does that mean only 1GB is eligible to be rolled over each month and not the full 4? Terms seem to suggest the add ons dont count

That is correct, you can only roll over the plan data not the promotion. I have a 1GB plan with x5 data promotion but can only roll over 1GB.

Here was the HUKD thread hotukdeals.com/dea…703

Note that plusnet is on the far more reliable EE network than the ID mobile Three one.
